Custom content file limits?

How many dependencies/lots/BATS/props/essentials etc can SC4 handle?
To be honest i have allot but the game works very well, offcourse its going to work a little bit slower because of al the buildings and the lots/props but i am just surprised the game didn't crash (not yet)
For the dependecies with Cleanitol list, i also used that

Are there any limits?

I think no one has reached the mod limit where the game breaks.

The only method to improve the performance of the game when you have a lot of mods is Datpacking

The only limit I'm aware of is for the Mac version, apparently that has a fairly strict limit on the number of files it will load from plugins, hence all the dat-packing.

My limit is my patience waiting for the game to load. I try to stay at around a gig.

@ulisse so this program will pack all the mods, lots etc together? Just like zipfile ?

The game is optimized to read a few files that many files. With this program you drastically reduce the loading time

And, iirc, there is an optimal size. I seem to recall it's around 600 MB per DatPacked file, but let's wait for others to chime in as I'm not certain of that size.

Yes the maximum is 600 MB but generally the program stops much earlier at 600 MB (530 MB from what I saw)
