What Plugins path location?

Where on my Windows 10 computer is the plugins folder that is used by the SimCity 4 from Origin digital version and also Lot Editor etc? I have three different locations at least I can find they are

1) user name\one drive\ documents\SimCity 4\plugins

2) user name\ documents\SimCity 4\plugins

3) this pc\documents\SimCity 4\plugins

If i want to download something from the STEX or LEX what file path should i use? I have seen the folder using one drive location when extracting files.

The 2nd one is correct.

For example:

C:\Users\CB\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins

Thanks I hate trying to find out which folder to look in when trying to find if i have a certain dependencies that is listed with a lot.  Saves some time and headaches for sure. If i read somewhere that the others are duplicates of the original folder is that true?

Most mod would be fine placed in path 2. However, some mods, particularly DAMN and sky background pictures aren't gonna work in the Document's Plugins folder. They should be placed in the game's Plugins folder.

If you configured One-Drive to mirror (among other files), your documents folder, indeed this is either a duplicate or the same files.

BUT, and this is very important, the Plugins folder in the Install folder of SimCity 4, is NOT a duplicate. You can put Plugins there and they will work, but you probably shouldn't, unless you fully understand how this and the User Dir (Documents) Plugins folder work. There is one exception, .dll-based mods, of which there are only a handful, should be placed in the Install Dir Plugins folder, to prevent problems with them loading.
