In the NAM 38 are there any bus stops that work on the one way roads without taking up a side tile?

Nope. NAM doesn't provide many bus stops, especially not road-top ones. You might be interested in trying this plugin, it comes with various road-top transit stations:

What you'd be looking for in this instance is the RTMT (Road-Top Mass Transit) package.  The most recent full package is RTMT 3.50 from 2007.  There's also a couple of addons for it as well--Addon Pack 3.60, and the Interim T-RAM Stations.

While there was some discussion about folding RTMT into the NAM when we started sketching out the new "Monolithic" approach that was first realized with NAM 31 in 2013, but it was decided that RTMT was a substantial enough package on its own, and a joint NAM/RTMT would be exorbitantly complex to install.  Given this, and the fact that we actually pulled a decent amount of supplemental content out of the NAM during the file architecture revamp that accompanied NAM 37, I would not expect this decision to ever be reversed.

I believe the RTMT is used for right hand driving (UK) and not for those using left hand driving (USA) and don't see any alternates even in the lot editor.  What happens in lot editor if i reverse the building or buildings they are usually grey in the lot editor?

RTMT absolutely should support both RHD and LHD, but in SC4 parlance those terms refer to the side cars drive on, not the side with the steering wheel, as used by the motor industry. Therefore, you should use the RHD RTMT lots, which might explain why the configuration is wrong on your lots. You should make sure you have RHD for both the base game and the NAM too. Using the wrong settings there could lead to problems with things working correctly.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

I have the NAM installed with the driving done on the right side. Do not see an option  to select which side of the road to drive on or in the menu  it shows the road, street, and avenue bus stops only. and I have checked the other menus to see if it was placed by mistake someplace else.

Found out two things I was doing wrong, one was misreading the the menu for bus stop construction the other bus stops now show up and deleted the items with UK at the end. My apologies to all who answered. I wonder how many others have misread the menu.

The current setup for RTMT is pretty clunky and the first time I did it, I had to go very slowly step by step to ensure I did it right. If you are installing the 3.6 Add-on and T-RAM interim stations,  there is a lot that go wrong.

Thankfully, when it is ready, RTMT 4.0 will use a simple installer and simplified file/install structure, which together will hopefully help everyone to get things running swiftly.

Try to curb your enthusiasm... People probably were over 10 years ago and it's not done yet! It's also the third year in a row where I've said to myself, this year it will be done.

That said, we're getting very close now, I have almost all the Lots and Modding tidied up, we're in the process of adding translations and hopefully will begin the beta testing and documentation within the month. It should be noted, most of the functionality testing was long since done too, so this won't gum up the works very much.

But much like with NAM 37, I had the fun job of completely overhauling the entire mod from the ground up. Between RL and motivation issues, this has taken a lot longer than I would have liked.

I am however very happy that we've got a very high-quality mod that respects the legacy of those who have worked on it throughout the years. It's going to be much easier to install, have a huge range of new lots and has been greatly simplified for the average user. It also has more customisation options than ever and I can probably announce too, it will be dependency free.

Stay tuned, all going well I've a few developments to share in the not too distant future. Let's hope 2021 really is the year of RTMT 4.0 this time.

Speaking of translations, whilst I will make a more formal post at some point, we'd love to hear from anyone who can help with the following language translations:

    • Italian
    • Portuguese
    • Dutch
    • Danish
    • Swedish
    • Norwegian
    • Finnish
    • Polish
    • Chinese (Both Traditional and Simple)

Well ideally we've like to get as many translations as possible. But, some of the terminology won't necessarily make a lot of sense if you don't play SC4. That said, I think we need around 100 texts translated, although most of it is pretty much copy/paste stuff, because 80% of the Dutch translations already exist as reference. Obviously there is no pay, but it's probably not more than an hour or two's work, so provided you aren't bringing anyone on board against their will, we'd be happy for whatever help we can get frankly. It would likely be a few weeks yet before I have things setup for other languages.

Right now, the team has handled the English, German, French, Spanish and Japanese texts first, so we've a better idea of what issues crop up along the way. For example, thanks to Pierre, French users will not only see French on RTMT lots, but the Queries for NAM Stations will now appear in French too for the first time since these items are shared between both mods.
