Visualizing Cities in Real Life

Hello,

What if we visualize cities in real life? Here my example:

I govern Fourth Experiment City (4EC). It is built in a medium city tile (or 128x128 blocks). The city has 275,330 people or 65.644 people per square km. It's denser than Dhaka and Singapore and yet all its citizens are high-wealth. It also has 1,420,753 high-end commercial jobs or 338.734 jobs per sq km, though it only has 10K of high-paid commercial services. What I can't visualize is how I see the city in real life as a standing person. Looking at Hong Kong is already quite impressive and huge. Experts of 3D modelling/BAT should be able to do this.

Thanks.

in short, the scale of the game is close to 4:1, so you should divide those numbers by 4 to get an idea of a comparable city. Just as well, the optimum distance for network infrastructure goes in the same rule: if you have, for example, metro stations each 3 streets on an avenue, it is equivalent to have stations each 12 streets in real life.

This is a follow-up of my discussion. We start with low-wealth low-density residential.

This is a cheap house in Indonesia. As you can see, the house size is 6.5 m x 14 m. If we convert the house into SC4, it will only need 1 tile x 1 tile. Reasonable for low-wealth residential. Note that the house almost fills up the land. Let's move on to medium-wealth residential.

As you can see, the house is almost perfectly 9 m x 20 m. If we convert to the game, it will need 1x2 to be fit. Still reasonable for medium-wealth. Move on to high-wealth low-density residential.

As you can see, the building measures (according to the street) 31 m x 48 m. If we port to the game, it'll need 2x3. Reasonable for high-wealth although in the game, it only grows in the later stages. The building doesn't fill up the land. Let's move on to malls and then offices.

The mall measures (according to the road) 100 m x 125 m. If we convert into SC4, it'll need 7x8. This is beyond SC4 provides. For comparison, the largest mall in the game only measures 6x6 and that's with parking lots etc. If we want to fit the building into 6x6, we can only fit the main building and excluding the control room, parking etc which is a bad deal compared to SC4. The office part:

If we convert to the game, it'll fit on 16x9 (looks like an aspect ratio used for displays). But, if we just fit the building, it'll fit in 8x9.

This is what I can post right now. There's more to cover from roads to factories. I hope this is useful. Thanks.
