Some 2x2 addons I've been working on for my NTS park paths set, finished at last ! Some are end pieces, others can be center pieces and other, ... “side pieces” ? whatever.

Yes indeed for plazas ; however the paths texture might be a bit weird for roundabouts ?

Continue'd : with the full set (paths+fountains+Basins&Greens), you may make something like this (it's bit packed close, that one, but it gives an idea.) Of course, all the sets being modular, you can pick and choose which combinations you want and not have the whole three sets cluttering your menu...

I'm yet not totally satisfied with the basins&greens ; the white texture is so flat, no relief... Perhaps adding some rocks ? Back to the blackboard.

I've scoured all the props I have and I can find anything that is really satisfactory. The white rocks are way too big and irregular. The best I could come up with is some Cnut planters (top left), and some MJB planters (top right) that at least give some relief to the basin sides, as long as they don't completely hide it (bottom left). But still. What that overlay really need is a prop that I don't have and which perhaps doesn't exist, an x8 or x16 long white simple thingie with a cubic or rectangular section, not too high. Anyone here has seen anything like that, or approaching that ?

well if there is no suggestions (an no generously foolish offer to bat me something *;) ) I guess I'll have to go with picture n1 -- it's csx, BTW, not Cnut. I did something else with Cnut, while I was at it*;) ; I'll probably make it an enclosed formal park.

like, Cnut Square, day, nite, and MMP'd. I was advised to put the path entry in the middle of a tile, so exit the multi offset entries... Sigh. Still, it is subtly non symmetrical *;). (And admire the restraint in baked-in greenery : you can MMP it to your heart's content.)

Should I put a fountain in the basin center ?
