Hello, I have a problem with RCI Plop mod, I had asked the question a long time ago, but I still have not answered ... So I say it here:

I can only place buildings of small density, but not medium and large ... Neither the hotels ...

Can someone help me ??

Couple of things you may not understand because you're new here:

1.  None of these topics are monitored full-time, so when you ask questions, you may or may not get an immediate answer.  Depending on what people are doing, it may take days to get an answer.

2.  The creator of this particular mod (the person most likely to be able to help you) hasn't visited the site in almost two and a half years.  So getting any help from him (her) is highly unlikely.  From the couple of posts I've read about this mod, it appears that it never worked correctly.

3.  As @CorinaMarie and @rsc204 tried to tell you under your previous post, the SC2013 forum is all but abandoned these days (likely due to any popularity the game once had being extremely curtailed).  So don't be surprised if you don't get any answers of substance actually dealing with the problem at hand.

I've never installed a single Mod for SC (2013) personally. I like the game, if only it actually worked in some vague way, I'm sure I'd still play it. However, just from looking at the comments of others regarding this mod, you can infer a little about potential problems. It seems like some can get it to work, others not, which for my money says the mod is probably just fine. So why then might it not work as expected? The first and most important troubleshooting is simply to make sure you've followed correctly the instructions of the mod itself:

How to install?

1. Download the RCI mod file

2.Go to (My computer\local disk\program files\Origin games\SimCity\Simcitydata)

3. Copy and paste the package file into your SimCityData folder.

4. Launch the game.

5. Save the game.

6. Quit the game.

7. Relaunch the game.

8. Resume the game.

This mod does not need project akar or avalon files. This is one separate mod. The buildings will be in the government buildings section(where the town hall and mayors house is). This mod has every single building in SimCity 5 except the futuristic ones.

 

So the basic checklist here is as follows:

• Are you using Offline Mode? No mods work with the online game, period.
• Have you used a new game with the mod? Also, did you launch (open a new region), save and quit, then re-launch the game, as per the instructions?
• Did you correctly install the mod into the right folder.
• Are you using a genuine and fully patched version of SimCity?

Perhaps they are there, but you were expecting them to be in order?
