Shadow flickers, blocking textures, thin interference lines

Hi Guys

Been searching far and wide for someone with similar issues but haven't come across it yet, so thought i'd bring it to the community.

I have recently moved to a new mac book pro which I use predominantly for video editing etc, but I sometimes like to take time out and play skylines. I used to play on a machine running Yosemite and it ran perfectly. Since leaving my old employer I bought a new mac, which was an upgrade in every way, but had the same graphic card set up - it runs sierra and Skylines is now awfully buggy.

The shadows flicker, blocks of terrain sometimes glitch to blocks of solid green at certain zooms or when i move camera, sometimes the road textures do the same but glitch to a block of weird looking grey.

At the bottom corner and sides there are lines of interference, look like radio wave interference (thin lines distorting edge of screen), very bizarre.

My specs:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

2.8 GHz Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB

Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

1TB Memory

MacOS Sierra

10.12.2

-------

So would love someone to let me know why this might be happening.

I have verified steam content, I have reinstalled, I have taken off overlay.

I can't offer much help, but I have the same thing on my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014). 3.5 i5 / 24GB / Radeon R9 M290X 2048. I've been running it on this machine for a while, and it is only in the past month or two that it has started doing this.

Looks like it might be an update issue then? As I had not played it for a while - and just happened to be now playing on another Laptop.

Appears it is a bug they can't fix at the moment.

Ive attached a picture of just one of the graphical issues...

I have been having this exact same issue.  Though I have noticed that I do not see the problems at night.  Can either of you confirm if you have fixed this issue or if you still have the problem?  My mac specs are almost identical to Eric's and I see the issue with or without mods and after a completely fresh install with no mods.  I do think it is related to the update following the natural disasters dlc (which I do not have).  Have either of you posted on Paradox's forums?

I have posted and asked their support. They got back to me saying there is nothing wrong with my mac and they will discuss it with the team. That was months ago. I asked if there was a patch coming and he didn't know.

I had a shadow flickering issue. I knew it was a mod because It gone when I disabled all mods.

If you have camera positions mod and cinematic camera mod, you need to enable enhanced zoom continued. This disables the FOV feature of camera positions mod and you should have no more flickering. You could also disable cinematic camera if you want. I hope this works for some of you, It seems there are many ways in which flickering occurs. I'm sorry I cant help you guys who have flickering with the base game.

Just gonna leave this here, since it seems to help with a lot of Mac issues: In your Steam Library right-click on this game and choose Properties. Click on Set Launch Options, and paste this in there: -force-glcore
