Where I live now I can see crops (during the appropriate season) when looking out my front door.

Frankly, I'm kind of jealous of this, * I wonder if i could be the lucky guy to see this beautiful sight as well.*:8)

Not too far from Bloomington.  My folks lived out there for a spot before my siblings and i were born.  We visited one year, and i was taken aback by how all the back yards had no fences or walls.. but that's a rural town for ya (not as uncommon after all, as my young naive worldview had me think).  Chicago yards have fences and Albuquerque yards cinderblock walls, and those were most familiar at the time.

Yes. The Sim workers arrive via the Car and Passenger Ferry:

7010-9915.jpg

Here's the Zones view:

7010-9918.jpg

And my Transportation Highlight View:

7010-9917.jpg

^ White is Streets. Orange is Rail. Darker Blue is Ferry Routes. Green shows Parks. Cyan is the Road inside the Ferry building lot. And Neon Green are Transportation Buildings.

As designed those particular industry do not have freight shipments because they cannot get to a seaport nor to the tile's edge via road or rail. However, the total industrial population is low enough that I don't need the minor extra cap relief from those few factories so I'm not worried about them. (In my imagination they just send the goods via the Ferry.)

Edit: I replaced the Zones View to have the grid on so you can see the slope of the ridge separating the lower part from the upper.

A couple of pics from my farmlands...

Seebee Farms

(This train pictured is the 19:47 service to Podunk.)

Fiddleton Farms

This got its name because it was quite fiddly to create on the diagonal.

Slowly but surely I'm getting used to the techniques Cori has inspired me by her beautiful farms. *:)

The infrastructure on Wisconsin is ready, and a few more cities were added, bringing the nine regions to a total count of 360 cities. The true population is 5,832,655 and each city will have exact census counts. Estimated time of completion- Dec. 31 unless the Packers make the Superbowl, and then it will be the end of January next year. A preview, a sleepy little fishing hole called Clam Lake, population 37. That took a big bite out of this project. Soon to be a City Journal.

I'm not 100% sure if these are the ones Jack is using, but if you're looking for vineyard props/lots, these are the best ones available (in my humble opinion).

One other set you might want to check out is the Historic Monastery set, which is uploaded under Vortext's account on SC4 Devotion, but contains models by KrashSpeed.

The set has limited use outside of the vines, but it's a bit of an underrated gem.

Yes, that's the one. But it's a pain in the asparagus to plop the MMP's so I made a lot for them in LE. Probably make a 4x4 sheet too, so I can branch out a little.

Just across the river from Big City in Timbuktu, some @CorinaMarie-inspired farms, using some of the techniques outlined to get the Out lots to build exactly where I wanted.

A small town to the north around the rail connection falling to farms with a couple of small villages in the midst. Some industry starting to creep in on the south border. *:)

I've enjoyed using @Simmer2's Dry Stone Walls to give the real rustic feel. *:8)
