kinda got tired of watching Youtube videos where Home Depot had to be clipped together, so I guess it was time for a redo. I first uploaded Home Depot April 27th last year with only 2 months of 3d modeling experience. Damn, how time flies.

My new Home Depot got me inspired to do a new Target. A majority of the work is complete.

as a side project, I made a couple of large "W" Hotel logos to fit on downtown skyscrapers. It was a lot easier than actually creating a hotel.

Yeah, things go a lot faster when i'm doing an asset that I've already done before, even starting from scratch. It's actually easier than updating or modifying an old asset and existing files

It's not that I don't take requests, it's that it's almost impossible to do so. I wouldn't mind doing a K-Mart, but i'd like to do a Sears too, and an updated Target, and IKEA...Not only would I like to do more department and big box stores, but I also want to continue to make more single family residential and apartments, hotels, main street shops, more Memphis landmarks, more props, and eventually I guess I have to make a skyscraper at some point. So yeah, direct requests would be extremely difficulty (unless there's a little pay for play so to speak lol), but suggestions are always welcome. Often, many suggestions are already in-line with something that I had planned or am working on anyway.  On the other hand, there have been several stores mentioned that I've never heard of.

Whatever you're working on, know that Cities would be a much different experience without your awesome assets. I think half my city would be gone.

Hmm, maybe I should try that approach with my ore assets. There's so much about them I would have done differently today I might as well start over and release them as new ones. Prob gonna upset some people if I change the original ones too much anyways

Got around to finishing Zaxby's. It's the first asset I ever started working on when I started learning how to make assets. And I started over completely a couple different times on it, making it the asset that's taken the longest from start to finish. On the other end of the spectrum, an asset that took me about an hour to start and upload since it's just a previous asset combined with a logo that I had already uploaded before.

I'd never heard of Zaxby's before seeing it on the workshop. I just looked and it's pretty much only found in the south which would explain it.

On a side note, I was out of town recently, and while I was on the highway I saw two things I thought would be right up your alley to make assets out of. One was a Holiday Inn Express. There are many variations, but I had the shorter 3-4 story version in mind. The second was Motel 6, something you find in literally every city, usually more than one, but there are none on the workshop. The closest thing is SvenBerlin's excellent Best Western.

Anyway, just figured I'd throw those out, just in case you had any interest. Thanks for all your amazing work.

yea, I started a Comfort Inn and some other one. Never made it to the finish line though. I haven't looked it this thing since last July prior to taking this screenshot! It honestly doesn't look too bad, but I'm sure i'd have to start from scratch if I were to revive it.

Sears Hometown? Sears Grand Central? Sears Auto Center? Zaxby's is like Slims Chicken and other Chicken Joints. BAM? How about a Shopping Center that has Ace or West Lake Hardware ,Stage,Dollar General,Save A Lot and so on in it? Winn Dixie because other Grocery stores in the Southeast have been made?

Zaxby's is my favorite fast food place......

Dollar General you say...? 

No Win-Dixie unless a donor requests it. I didn't really care for Food Lion, I can't even remember going there when I lived in a city that had one. Maybe a Save-a-lot one day. It took me a year and a half of making assets to get around to Sears, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

Dude, if you want some of these you could always try and learn to create assets yourself! That's what I started doing, sure there is a learning process, but isn't there in anything in life!

Yes Iv'e seen those 2 you made and have all you made so far. Hopefully that Comfort Inn gets done. Yes I have tryed to use the Editor before.
