Still no rain but dark clouds in the west may offer some tonight.

Oh no! They are talking about something developing in the Gulf. Even if it doesn't develope, we still have a 90% of rain from tomorrow to Thursday because of this system.

Sam: LOL that sounds like when I rewired something and shorted out the basement in the process. 3.gif

Micah: Keep us posted.  I can never seem to get the Houston weather from here.

As of yesterday, over 200K people here in STL still don't have power.  It could take till Wednesday to get it all back.  Thankfully, ours is back. 9.gif

Hawt! But it was very, very misty this morning with thick fog rolling in off the sea and Broads which cleared by around lunch. I predict thunderstorms, big ones.

It hit 113 F yesterday. I would not mind some rain, but it is weird when 100 F feels cool! I almost like it. Key word: almost.

Today was hot like the rest of the summer, and i once again thought of moving to siberia. we had 26c according to the weatherwoman and it was probably 30 inside my work, fortunatley i drove arond in my companycar most of the day which has AC so it was quite pleasant, if you remove the 200km i travled back an forth around stockholm today.

Yestarday the swedish metrological placything issued Class 2 Thunderstormwarnings in Stockholm, though i never even heard the thunder.

After a few days of nice weather in Eastern Ontario, it has become hot, humid, and gross again. I think we are going to have a thunder storm tonight, just based on how it looks outside.

It's 87 degrees F with a heat index of 94 degrees and humidity is at 61%. There's a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms, but I don't think it's going to do that much or any raining today because that huge blob of rain and thunderstorms traveling east out of Texas looks like it's slow enough to reach us by tomorrow.

Very slowly cooling down.

Some steady rain in the forecast but still warmer than normal.

Warm humid and pouring rain. Is it ever going to be a normal summer.

First two miserable summers and then a very hot summer.

The temperature here has been in the 90s for the past week or so, and to top things off, our air conditioner went out this past Sunday, and the earliest that someone can come out here and fix it is tomorrow (Friday).  It's been pretty miserable for the past few days. My family has avoided being at home as much as possible. I even thought about opening my bedroom up as a sauna. <img alt="" src="https://community.simtropolis.com/assets/emoticons/18.gif" />

Well, we have a new record for consecutive days in triple digits, twelve! Previous record 9. Lows have been in the mid to high 70s (F) 53 people have died as a direct result of the heat statewide (CA)! The high that was parked over us is starting to move off so things should start cooling down, Thank goodness....

Well, Stephen Colbert pointed out on The Colbert Report, that over the weekend every state in the USA had turned red. No more blue! Hehehe...

Blackout in parts of Alberta(mostly edmonton and calgary).

Normally our RICH province can take a heatwave.

Not one this bad.

The only thing preventing Alberta from burning to the ground is severe rains at the end of each heatwave.

Days with:

Hot days(30C)                   8

Heatwave days(32C)       5

Above Normal                   41

Near/ Below normal        19

Thunderstorms:

Weak          5

Moderate   5

Strong        3

Severe        6

Total           19

Unofficaly Beats the record of 7 in 2002!
