It has been foggy here for the past 48 hours, it has caused chaos at Heathrow Airport which is not very far from me.

Melbourne has had its fair share of weather over the past couple of days, with even more predicted.
Just last night Melbourne recorded its warmest overnight low of just 27
°C The city sweltered in this heat
Just this evening Melbourne has recieved rain. There is currently rain on it's way to The Bushfires which has now burnt out 800,000h of land, which is twice the size
of Melbourne.
And now for Christmas (Monday) it is predicted to be the coldest December day of just
16°C with snow predicted in the alpine areas (Bushfire area) in summer.
Crazy weather.
Any way here is the weather report.

It's very dreary here with lots of rain, and it's supposed to continue through the weekend.

Well, it's finally below zero in Ottawa, but we still have barely any snow. My lawn is still showing completely. That means no skiing! 15.gif

Very weird weather for this time of year - 13ºC, sunny with a few clouds and a warm breeze; it's that mild here today I saw someone earlier today just wearing jeans and a t-shirt! Average temperatures at night (2ºC-4ºC), but very mild daytime temperatures (13ºC compared to 8ºC-10ºC) and no snow (or even rain) whatsoever, must be global warming or something... 3.gif

Ok, so today turned out pretty nasty. Freezing rain, yuck. There's a 1/8 inch layer of ice on everything outside.

Yeah, we have fog in Ottawa too...

That's the parliament buildings from across the street... probably 100m away. Usually you can see them clearly in this shot.

Well after snow a few days ago it is again 42 degrees and sunny, though we have a 30% chance of snow tomorrow (Christmas Day) and we still have an inch of snow on the ground.21.gif

Yeah, we'll definitely be having a semi-wet, overcast kind of Christmas.

Christmas was foggy and overcast here, with temperatures hovering around 6°C (day and night).

And so is today but with much more normal temperatures around 3°C.

If the sky will clear up tonight some night frost might be possible and since we haven't a single day with frost so far in this month i hope it will.

The outlook looks horrible for any winter freak like me, rising temperatures and rain comes back by the end of the year, on New Year it might even go up to 12°C.....26.gif28.gif

Lights........Camera.........Action

After a fairly rainy christmas eve, raindrops falling out of a dull, grey sky, constitutes another rainy, dull day where we'll all have nothing to do other than sit at our computer and post on simtropolis until our dates ring the doorbell to pick us up, and when we'll huridly get off line without replying to a private message that somebody who you have never heard of sent you. And now back to Tom for the CJic news.

Well, it is about -7 C here, so what little snow we had left is still here... Now all we need is a little more...
