A gale is currently affecting the North sea coast!

It's blowing very strong outside, on average we have 8 Beaufort (70 kph) right now, but in the past hour my weather station recorded a gust of 108 kph (that's 11 Beaufort, so almost hurricane strength!)

The weather is rainy and it's also quite mild for late December with 7°C (44°F).

33º C (91ºF) humid and cloudy. Today's sunset was at 8:10 pm, and this is not the warmest month. January is yet to come...

Although, friends of mine tell me Buenos Aires' temperature is even worse.

Overcast cloud here, but quite warm for this time of the year. I just went walking and it was warm enough to walk without a coat on.

Well here in Christchurch, New Zealand we get crazy weather. In summer it could be 30 degrees, then a south-west flow will come from the Antartic and it will drop to 12... with heavy rain...

In winter we have beautiful days with not a cloud in the sky, but we also get snow.

Summer temp: 15 to 40 degrees

Winter temp: -5 to 20 degrees

Craziest day of 2006: Sunny in morning, then heavy rain. Sun came back, then snow.  Sun again, then hail and more rain. CRAZY WEATHER!!!!!!!!!!

An update on YAH's post... almost everything has melted and it is almost up to 10 C, no sun, very cloudy and wet, and no wind... not a normal January 5th in Ottawa.

Not good at all. 15.gif

I live outside of New York City. Normally, it should be around 35 degrees F, but today it was 68 degrees. Enough said, I guess...

Sorry for the caps, but I'm excited. I doubt it will stay though because it is above 0 C. That and it is forecast to be slightly above zero this week. 15.gif

Well it is all gone now... 15.gif

I keep getting my hopes up that it will stay and it has just been disappearing. Nature is teasing me.

Phew... I heard a blast of Arctic air is going across North America (including Canada and America). My dad is going to Denver which has been throughout most of the news these past 3 weeks and he'll be travelling through this mess.

In Houston, they expect sleet, ice, and freezing rain because of this Arctic air. Sounds like fun! ::sarcastic::

Oh well, I get Martin Luther King Day off anyway... hopefully my school won't make an excuse to take off a few days in summer because of winter weather. The high & low of next week is expected to be freezing... yeah, the whole next week. 15.gif

Phew...
