In Ottawa, it is hot, sunny, humid and down right nasty and disgusting. I have no intenetion of going outside for the rest of the day... unless it gets nice.

Sunny but cool now (21:01), like around 21C/22C. It rained all day today, but it was "needed"...

Another nasty thunderstorm has been going on for a few hours now... I'm surprised cause usually the thunder passes and we get rain, but the thunder and lightning has been in the region for a while now, and it somtimes is less loud, sometimes it's very loud.

It is noon in Ottawa, and already as humid as a sauna and over 32 C... Yuck. We had a big storm last night, but it only made things worse, instead of better.

Temps are sesonal for the first time in two months.
But long range forecast predict two more heat waves for alberta.
One in mid-late august and one in mid september.
And a  possibility of a heat wave in october.
The total for the year could be up to 7 heat waves.

High possiblity of yet another warm christmas this winter

First major snowfall of the year will be in march again... Sigh

Hit 102F (about 38C) here today with a heat index of 112F (about 44C)

They say tomorrow will be worse.

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

Yup, Ottawa is not going to have a nice day or even next few days for that matter. @ 11:30 am, it is hot, humid, cloudy and overcast... and raining lightly from time to time.
