Sacramento currently 97 F and forecast 103 F, also a 'spare the air day' which means the ozone is unhealthy for sensitive groups

Ireland -

(Day|Night)

(Temperatures in degrees Celcius)

Mon          Tue        Wed          Thu           Fri           Sat

Clear     Clear     Clear     Chance of Storms     Clear     Mostly Sunny

30°|18°    32°|18°    30°|21°     29°|18°    24°|18°    25°|17°

10.gif

Considering that the warmest temperature every recorded in Ireland was only 33.3°C/91.94°F in 1887, it's fair to say that it's hot here! Oh, and, for those of you wondering, the coldest ever recorded was -19.4°C/-3°F in 1881.

However, this "heatwave" is set to end from Thursday night onwards...

It is 33 C right now (about 92 F) in Ottawa. But that's not the bad part. It is so humid and hazy (smoggy) here that I can SEE THE AIR. Eww!

It's almost 90 degrees here in Delaware. It's 5:30 here right now though, so it'll cool down as the night rolls in.

I was laughing so hard when the national news media called these 90F and 100F temperatures all around the country a "Major heat wave".... where I live, we call it "Texas". 3.gif

Hotter than hades this afternoon, but we just had a major thunderstorm with a power outage.  It is a lot cooler and drier now.  Only going to 27 C tomorrow.  It has been in the 30's with high humidity and a smog alert.

It was nice sitting under the walnut tree with a cold drink this afternoon because there was a nice breeze in the yard.  It was blowing quite hard up on the Niagara Escarpment when we were driving over in Grey County later on.

Phew, it got so hot here today, we just had a massive thunderstorm hit us. Some of the power is out in the area. At least the thunderstorm cooled down the temperatures.

105 F today in Fresno, CA...except there is actually some humidity today! Oh no! I may see rain tomorrow night (20ish% chance) with a high of 105 F (lol).

callagrafx

The main debate over global warming is what is causing it and how much it really matters. It is not over whether it exists or not anymore (unless fools are debating3.gif).

but anyways, these temperatures in Fresno are normal (average summer high is 96 F)...the rest of the world, well, I feel sorry for you!
