I went outside this morning, and could barely breath. The themometre by the door says 27/81, it feels like about 38/100 with humidity, and it's only noon......... It's going to get hotter.

Ouch! 120F for a high and 90F for a low!?

Now, THAT'S what I call hot. By the way, for all you non-US folk, that's about 49C for a high temperature and 32C for a low temperature

Here's Portland's Yahoo forecast:

Well, the weather was so bad here that it made the national news just about a week ago.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13439117/

This week, we had one storm come through that caused a blackout for 80,000 people in my suburb area alone. And the blackout wasn't during the day, it was at night. Everything was pitch black... truly creepy.

That same storm that day caused a tree to fall on my neighbor's house. And on the other side of the neighborhood, the same story.

But luckily, no one was hurt.

This week, sunny and hot.

Unsettled, 20 to 25 C, intermittent sunny periods with showers and thundershowers.  I think there is a TROWAL controlling this area just now.

yeah, 13 inches of rain in a week is a bit much

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

referrelative="t" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" filled="f" stroked="f">OMAGH FORECAST (29 JUNE 2006) -

Weather - Mostly Sunny, Chance Of Rain
Maxmium Temperature - 27C (80F)
Minimum Temperature - 12C (53F)
Current Temperature (16:42) - 25C (77F)
Wind Speed - 10-19 km/ph (6-12 m/ph)
Pressure - 1024mb
Relative Humidity - 93%
Sun Index - Moderate
Pollution - Low
Visibility - Moderate
Sunrise - 03:55
Sunset - 22:11
Daylight Hours - 03:30-23:15 (around that)

So far, no rain - just clouds, heat n' humidity! 2.gif

IRELAND - Five day outlook -

(Day/Night)

Friday - 26C/13C (Cloudy with sunny spells)
Saturday -  25C/13C (Cloudy with sunny spells, chance of light rain)
Sunday - 27C/17C (Sunny)
Monday - 29C/20C (Sunny)
Tuesday - 29C/21C (Sunny)

Summer Prediction - Temperatures in mid-to-late 20s daily, over 30C some days (especially inland). High pressure gradient (over 1012mb most days, has been for a while already) leads to majority sunny days. Anticyclone conditions mean low wind speeds, thus making the temperature feel hotter. Rainfall will occur, probably at night every few days (in coastal areas, less inland) due to rapid condensation (temperatures go from 29C to 11C in some locations in 4 hours). So overall, a pretty good Summer, hopefully! 4.gif

Great weather over here!1.gif

Mainly hot and dry, with a few strong storms. One of them made the power go out last week Thursday.

June North Texas

What do you think?

Hot 104 today

I was however totaly flabbegasted about a huge storm cell about a week ago  that started in Weatherford texas spawing a couple tordanoes and hail storms.

What amazed me how ever was the sheer size of this storm as it moved to the east across the metroplex, eaisly the size of the whole metropolitain area north to south. The radar was showing this huge mostly red blob( red is severe storms) moving across the whole area. now the amazing part: It totlay died out in about 30 minutes and didnt even make it 1/2 way across the metroplex.( And no rain think its been 70 days now)

Id never ever seem a storm that big just break apart like that.

atlanta

DRY

plus on top of that the BRILLANT government emptyed out WAY WAY WAY WAY to much water out of the largest supply of water(lake lanier) for atlanta. the metro area is something like 5 million peps, so most of the counties in the metro had to announce a drout(sp?)  then recently a judge ordered that more water be emptyed out for alabama.

government at it's finest
