I wished some of the streetview in kyoto had better quality, some of the captures are from 2009 with lots of noise. I usually have to make my own (mediocre)textures which kinda ends up taking too much of my time.

Maybe try tokio, there is really good coverage and I guess buildings should be simular.

Wow- I stumbled across your buildings the other day and I really love how much more urban and dense  your buildings make the city feel!

Got a question though- did you ever end up finishing the 135-degree corner building?

Overhanging buildings are a mess

At first it was a 2x2 rotatable ploppable, but most props were too far away from the lot and disappeard, so I had to make it a 2x3. Had to move the watertower a bit, so its on a slightly different position than in the screenshots (Prospers new towers are amazing). Still "Move it" is kind of nessesary now.

Up to this point, I though the new 1:1 thumbnailratio on the workshop was a bug or at least not intented, but appearently it is. I changed my ratio, and now the thumbnails look great on the workshop, but streched on the ingame toplist and on the steam gamepage (the top 3 list you see when where you enter the workshop). Very weird decision by steam .

Anyhow, released the 135 corner:

@Feindbold Corner buildings are always very useful! Regarding the workshop thumbnail issue (Strange decision indeed), the solution is to make a regular rectangular thumbnail when creating the asset and a square one that you use when you publish it...

Again not much time, but maybe I can present some shots on what im working on atm, a set simular to brooklyn theme, were I can integrate all my euro buildings. This time it will be high residential. Starting from this, buildings will grow into big 5-6 story buildings.

The Idea is, that every building with the exeption of 6stories can be used 2-3 times to maximise variety and provide hight differences.

1 Story: L1,L2
2 Story: L1,L2,L3
3 Story L2,L3,L4
4 Story L3,L4,L5
5 Story L4,L5
6 Story L5

Some have 512² textures, some 1024x512 but most have 512x256 ones, 7 buildings are finished so far.

I'm so hyped for this! The higher level ones will probably be great as well but I love using 1/3-storeys buildings. I've only noticed recently that the dutchrow houses were from you and they are among my favourite low-density assets!

Thx^^ allways bothered me, that the standard euro set is not visually changeing while leveling up.

Sry I´ve been terrible quiet here, but rather active on the workshop. Recently I uploaded the fondation (about 25 buildings, I think 11 unique ones) to my new "Central Europe" Theme, were I test a new idea to create more realistic variety:

I'm in love with this theme! Great buildings as well. Some very nice styles of architecture. a lot of differentiation which goes together very nicely. This is great for my newest city!

Couldn't agree more! There's no easy way to tell if you're European buildings are leveling up. Plus some of the colors are really just kinda strange. Wonderful new additions you've got there!  I feel so at home. And if you need any specific sizes just let me know. I can always take a walk around my town and grab some pictures.

Dunno, definitely more buildings for each level when I reach 4+ stories.

Downpipes are just texturebased.
