I was just thinking earlier today "I hope Feindbold makes some more HD European buildings" as I looked for some on the workshop! They look great as always :D

Your assets are probably the best for the kind of cities that I like to create... but, I really REALLY prefer the Brooklyn theme !

I know that you have a life outside Cities Skyline... but when will you release something new in the Brooklyn serie ? Your assets are so ESSENTIAL, it's like a drug... :kitty:

Have to agree with the previous poster. Your Brooklyn rowhouses are a drug, and a most addictive one...
And I think, it´s definetly time to say thank you.

I like the European homes. I am living in one of those :)

The assets are extremely nice, don't hurry yourself!

Some nice buildings! Only thing I dislike is the fully illuminated shopping window. The corner will also create some nice variation with that shape.

Jeah such big faces look kinda wierd if illuminated.

This time I left the shop dark. I made another corner, that looks like its asymetrical, even though it is a straiht forward 2x2 corner.

Good looking building, I like the effect of asymmetrical walls, gives it a little extra touch. And yes, having the shop window turned off adds to the whole thing in a realistic way. After all, it is better to have it like that, than having a huge white thing shining all the way.

Quick question. I am no modder so I have no idea. Is it possible to have different textures inside the window? Like, is it possible to have a window that resembles as if someone was actually living in there?

Thanks^^Well a little late for a quick question, as far as I know, that is not possible, it is but you would loose the illusion of reflective windows.

Just letting you all know there is just too much work and RL going on, so dont expect to much new stuff in the next maybe 2 month :( I will try to upload a few missing euro w2w soon though.

Something else I spend a few minutes on an old building of mine and took my first steps with Rico, what do you think, how many households should a building like this have. I though about 3 for each story and 2 for the "roofbuilding"

Roughly 45ish households? too much? or more?

I think 45 is in the right direction. IRL this would have been 2 apartments per floor or something, but the tennants are quite rich.

You're cleaning up the textures of this one? Can't find much difference between this and the one on the workshop.

    Thanks for the reply!

45 is a good number as long as the building is a rich people's building. In real life, if that was a regular building, you would have as mentioned as Darf, 2 apartments per floor so that would probably be 3-4 people x2 apartments x 11 stories = roughly 80 people ( assuming you have 4 in some, 2 in other.. 3.. and so on). I'm loving that building.. really nice addition!

Thanks for the fast replys^^ and obviously your opnion, I will take the 45 :)

Just converted it to ploppable so far, I doubt I can do much polishing, textures are just too lowres to make a difference here. Might edit out ac vents and do my little  window trick, to make them look sharper though. Also at the time my normals where a little bit too strong, so I will correct this too. Building coud benefit from that.

Rico will give me the possibilty to integrate old stuff into brooklyn and manhattan while ignoring the current tiergabs there. Stuff like this old 2x2 office (Elign building in,.. hehe Elign^^). This comes with the downside that these old buildings have their flaws, especially considering texture quality. I will try to fix a few things but generally its more about pushing things out before I lose interest in this old stuff^^

Well, as long as you keep publishing, we will keep subscribing! Thanks for the cool updates, and also for getting things into RICO, it is important to have the option to set things the way we want, so this step you are taking is definitely going to help us improve they way your work shows up in our cities.

I'm starting to see taller buildings.. could we expect another set of taller filler buildings for the Manhattan set?

Very lovely corner. Would still love this as a growable if only you released it privately. RICO is ofcourse also welcome, but it would fit right in with 2 of prospers 2x2 corners.

Awesome as always and a very nice addition to any European looking city. Love the odd corners and the tiny rowhouse! :D

Uhhh! Both look great! :D Will the 45 deg. corner be a ploppable or growable? No matter what it will be great to have - currently they're all plazas or parks in my cities. :P

Thanks :) Ploppable for sure, but I think I will make it rotatable. I tried the existing steep angle corners and I wasn´t really satisfied with their placement system. I think a rotatable ploppable will give players more abillities :D

Some great additions, what neighbourhoods in Chicago looking for inspiration? And what happened to that 2x2 corner office? I still would really love to see it.

    Wow, gorgeous assets!
Maybe it's me, but that second screenshot really reminds me of Havana for some reason.

Thanks^^ I was looking at lincoln park,  lake view (especially these long shoppingstreets like lincoln ave and clark str., wich feature a lot of nice 45deg buildings) and a few neighbourhoods around the university and the former white city (now called jackson park)

    2x2 is allmost finished ;)

Some update on the 45deg corner: made 2 versions, one original brick one and one with 4 colorvariations. Placement works great so far, far better than expected actually.

I made it semi w2w, so you can place it like a w2w building, but you also can place it like a semiw2w building and it wont look ugly on the backsides/sides

edit: any idea on how to fix these dents in the snow on the roof?
