Here's the Reflect Plaza:0852F8B150281462FF586A8472AB1D746A2A1921

Also, here's a nighttime view of some condos overlooking a city park. I'm sure you'll recognize them:

That was my thought. They all share a similar color palette and aesthetic, I thought they just looked great all grouped together.

If you're going to redo vanilla buildings, there's one level 5 vanilla highrise that has no lights. It's the big 4x4 glass and steel building with the tennis courts on the roof. I don't know if they just forgot or what, but it has no window lights at all.

    Here we go :

Awesome! That's my favorite vanilla lvl5 apartment, but I hated how dark it was. Problem solved! Thank you very much for this.

    That is fantastic!
I always felt bad having to bulldoze that building because of the missing night lights (I agree it's one of the best vanilla residentials), but no more!

Awesome! Did you create that with the CimCopter mod?

    Hehe, thanks. :)

No, I did it using a car as a template but with all geometry at 110m over the ground.

It is not usable as it is, because cars sometimes park (and a bunch of immobile choppers over a city would look weird). But It will work better with police cars or firetrucks.

So I'll make a police helicopter and a fire fighting helicopter, but there are still some problems with it, because you would end up with half the police cars and firetrucks being replaced with it... so I'll make a bunch of ultra low poly police cars and firetrucks assets to reduce the proportion of helicopters.

Oh and yeah, they still will appear magically and despawn... :ducky:

I wish I had the time to add helicopters as a real transport type.

Thats a brilliant Idea! Maybe you could do a "Air-Taxi" version too, with a 110 meter highrise building + helipad as a taxistand :thumb:.

It's nice how you managed to cut nearly half the size while having additional night lights compared to the version that was already on the workshop. Also, the grass has a less obnoxious color and kudos for not leaving the ground bare.

Well the version already on the workshop has a huge problem. The author used the main model and textures as a lod. This is not only bad, but also extremeley damageable to the players. :ducky:

Pure perfection, very well polished. Even though it is the "same" model, it looks so much better.

It makes me sad that the SC3K building look better than the vanilla C:SL assets.

    Looking forward to your version!

I still love SC3 a lot. It looks so nice and cute.

But again, I'm remaking a building that stands on a 2x2 lot in SC3... and it will only fit on a 4x4 in CSL.

We would need 8x8 growable lots to be happy :D

At least 8x8. But I dont think CO will improve the size of the growables lots. And 8x8 lots implies a mod that merges plots together (or share plots), with a hierarchy between levels... (to avoid the explosion of big properties by smaller levels buildings)

The splitting/merging system in CSL is not only poor but actually non-existent. But I'm pretty sure our modders will come with something. ;)

The plot size might be another beast.

Anyway If I remake other SC3/SC4 buildings, I will make some ploppables (because well, there are really nice big ones too).

Yeah, even Wren insurance would need a 4x6 lot in CS... *duck*
