    Something a bit different...

There is NO hearse apart from the vanilla one at the moment, so I took a free lowpoly model and I'm converting it. But the original textures are absolute crap... so I' completely remaking them.

If I can find nice models to start working with... why not. I love old cars.

I'd like to do a '74 Ford Gran Torino... yeah the Starsky and Hutch one :D

Oh jeeze, that'd be awesome! Regardless of what you do, can't wait to see. Your stuff always turns out great, especially the caddy you just released. :D

Just started playing a bit and adding nightlights... it would be sad not to have my buildings ready when the game update will be there.

Compared to the screenshots CO posted from night mode, your lights look a little dim. Granted, their screenshots made the city look like Las Vegas, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm (and a lot of others too) hope they tone down the lights from blinding levels, but if not, your building might be drowned out.

Hey It was a test, for now I had to dim the whole thing to make it look like it was at night.

But I've got bad news, look at how they decided to make nightlights work : https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/cities-skylines-after-dark-dev-diary-2-whats-new-with-modding.878916/

Any response from them on that?

Not yet... I'm very vocal, I hope I won't be taken as just annoying. But the way they decided to make it work basically destroys some things we could make to get cool buildings.

How does glass transparency work with this game? I.e could you make windows semi-transparent and put a model light behind them?

Sadly no, transparencies in the game are very limited, they are on or off.

Well that does suck then. Give it time. They will either reverse course or someone will figure out a workaround.

Edit: And I hope they didn't expect us to be non-vocal when they made this game. We're old and set in our ways. :hmph:
