Gn_leugim: Interesting requests! I can see that ortho to diagonal transition puzzle piece to be very useful for many members who use the NAM! I know that there is a piece like this for GLR so it seems do-able. However, I am not too sure about your other requests though.

I was always wondering if whether it would be possible to request new bridges for the monorail tracks? Just a thought.

Sorry for my ignorance, I didn't know that the "2nd request" was refering to me.. It was want't it?

Monorail Bridge, Primm, Nevada

spaceball.gif

Here is what I want it to look like but I want it to cross over spans of oceans, and to also have enough space betwen the supports for large ships to sail through under it.

Mostly i want the space between the supports.

I had another idea in mind but I couldn't find an exaxt pic of it so i was wondering could I draw it out?

Tommy7777:  Not that I know of.  There were many attempts in the past to make one, but, due to the difficulty of making interchanges, the project was abandoned to my knowledge.

However, if and when the MIS for the RHW network is released with the NWM, Partial-y interchanges will be possible.  You will just have to wait until the NWM and new RHW network are released until you will be able to make this type of interchange.

However, you can also use a bit of creativeness to make your own partial-y interchange.  Here an example of one I made:

I'm going to take one more shot at a request.

Wide enough for large ships to pass through.

I apologize for not giving a decent image. The internet connection in my area is currently under some repairs or maintainence, so my internet speed has been shot and i am unable to successfully host it on my usual image hosting account.

Shadow_prophet: Nice request, it makes sense! I hate how cruise ships and tankers can only go between the supports if you have it "just" right. It is indefinitely NOT realistic in any way. I personally would like something similar too (I use the bullet train mod for the monorail), as well as the fact that the HSR also utilizes this network.

warrior: Once again, I can see the images Just fine! I think its just you..

Anyways, about being, creative, you just have to work with what'ya have... Using the current SC4 custom content plus a little intellect can create virtually infinite possibilities... Just look at all that stuff on the STEX and elsewhere!

The MIS may work with other networks "connecting" to the RHW, so you could still connect regular highways {F-H-Ws} to to the RHW and to other highways using a little intellect once again. The possibilities are nearly endless.

Heck, just look the last line in my sig and you know what that means.

"well Norton says it is in a "certain" category, but I'm 100% sure it's not"

I have Parental Control on my PC for some reson my Dad installed everything he could.

That is what I thought but Swamper77 said thatt it is *only* for the RHW?

I have a request...

OnrampOfframp.jpg

Is there ANY possible way we can see this kind of Highway Exit / Onramp for the GROUND Highway? The Parrallel ramp really doesn't cut it, it's too restrictive and simply looks unrealistic when trying to make Highway Ramps into Oneway roads for more realistic interchanges. Also the oneway roads WILL be used as I have a RHW system that features one way roads being used for the exit / on ramps and even have some ramps that loop to merge onto the highway. Sims have absolutely no problems with it either...

If not, just what will it take to get this ramp in the game? I'm super serious about it.

Oh my gosh, Wow dude I know EXACTLY where that first photo is, I just passed through it coming home today!!...

That is Peachtree Industrial Blvd, GA 141, (NOT I-285, The road shown is NOT an Interstate!) which prior to that traffic light if a freeway for about 5 miles and has about 4 Exits and it also has Oneway Collector/Distributor roads that run parralell with it for it's entire freeway length. That traffic light displayed is the I-285 Westbound Onramp for GA 141 Northbound (opposing traffic, and they don't have to stop either as it becomes a freeway just after passing I-285) whereas the Eastbound Onramp is just pass the Overpass that carries I-285.  How did you happen to come across that photo?

They SERIOUSLY need to complete that interchange, it's only half done - some traffic has to stop, and others can keep moving at all times.  Other than that, 141 is by far one of Atlanta's coolest freeways as I've never experienced a traffic jam on it, until the freeway portion of it ends. I personally think they should have made the freeway portion carry you as far out as the Mall of Georgia, THAT would have been a GREAT alternative to Atlanta's 16 Lane Massacre, I-85 of Gwinnett County...

i think that is being done with the draggable texture project but it's been a while since it's been updated, Filasimo?

If you had car paths on a canal it would mean you would get cars on the canal and roads and canal boats on the canal and roads, It may be possible using subway paths but I don't know, It would certainly be possible to make non-functional canals.

warrior: the DTP is just one of many projects were doing hopefully when other projects die down and I have free time with RL i can get down to working and learning how to develop this. Tarkus has already shown it can be done. It was a concept I came up with and Tarkus came up with the prototype. currently Im working on the SAM readme so im hoping to get to this towards the end of the year when my work priorities die down. Currently I have 3 big projects due at work in the next two weeks and more possible to come as the Christmas season rapidly approaches. Just make sure u check the NAM development threads over at SC4D

simo out.
