Opinion on Website Design

I need your guys' opinion on the design of a website I'm currently working on.

Perhaps I don't know how imgur works, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be seeing in that link. It's pretty much a pixelated mess with a giant "forumachine" script covering up most of it.

I'd say it isn't bad, however a link to the website instead might be a better way to score it.

The website is currently in development I'm afraid that I can't let anyone view it yet.

I'm a bit unsure what the image is showing. Is that a forum behind, with the overlay being a dropdown menu from the nav bar?
Some more pics or info might help. It's quite difficult to judge without any context.
 
My thoughts from what I can tell:

• Nice colour scheme -- simple but effective.
• Good contrast maintained.
• Stands out while not being overpowering.

• Be careful with BLOCK CAPS. I'd suggest to only use it for titles & headings. Maybe the bottom two lines would be easier to read in a regular case.
• If the forum image is a background, it appears very pixelated. Maybe consider changing to an "abstract" background.
