Hi Everyone !

Today, I've gone crazy and i put a diagonal avenue in the middle of my city that i'm working hard on and the side walk came up like this.

So i know this is something I downloaded sometime ago and i have some diagonal filler but it won't just fit with this one.. Is it there someone who knows if i can find a filler to match with this sidewalk.

Thanks a lot !

ps : Je parle aussi français (Montreal, Quebec) pour ceux que ça pourrait concerner ^^ !

There are some diagonally disposed lots on the STEX and the other exchanges that may solve your problem.  The cause is not a previous download, but a truism of the kind of graphics you get in 2002.  This is when you really get to see the grid.

I looked around on the STEX and other ..EX but was surprise to find nothing. I was just wondering if i could have miss something. However, i'm not sure I understand the last part of your reply, but what i meant is that I don't think the sidewalk texture on that picture is Maxis' ones. I do have maxis sidewalk filler and they don't match. The grid doesn't bother me. It will only force me to do a larger sidewalk ;) .

You are right, that is not a maxis texture - You must have some sidewalk override mod in your plugins.

I made a using some of C.P.'s diagonal tenements - it also includes some 'filler' lots that may help ease 'shark teeth' look.  Good luck.

Im not at home or I'd give thr name- but I know someone just posted diag parking lots. Besides that there are diag seasonal tree parks, the fillers you mentioned, pedmall fillers, and buildings (search grdibuster, diag, diagonal, corner). I know the euro batters have alot of diag filler.

As you said you know about this stuff- just options if u are unsuccesful fixing that sidewalk mod white texture.

I believe that belongs to Jeronij's sidewalk mod, which I'm not particularly fond of since it has odd textures and wealth/zone transitions. While I'd recommend using a different sidewalk mod that might have more support or still be under development, like Paeng's sandstone mod, it might be possible to see if Jeronij ever mad a base retexture file that changes all of the MAXIS sidewalk textures over to his versions. I'm not sure such a thing exists, however.

Yeah thats probably the best way to do it, the sandstone in particular as I know there are fillers for it. His pedmall sanstone plazas match the sidewalk texture's as well.
