With this comment, we are also getting a rare 5-comment-a-week streak on this thread, something that didn't happen since 2022!

The rules did not stipulate the numeral system, did they? All right then: 6063

6064 holy crap it's been so long, I forgot about protocol.

Hey guys. I haven't logged on for years. But I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether or not Schulmanator is still a member? He had the CJ Schulmania... I believe it was called.  He was kind enough to include my kitty in his cj. I had to put my kitty down today after 17 years. I wanted to thank, Bruce, I think his name was, for writing my sweet little girl into his story all those years ago.

Wow haven't posted in a while but life's been good! I'm not too sure if Schulmanator is still active in the site, but I'm sorry that you lost your kitten after living such a long and happy life.

well, we're only in February now, so, as long as we continue with the posts, we should be able to finish this page before the end of the year

now, even though we're at post 6078, I don't think we'll be able to get through the ~3900 before the end of the year, unless we opt for spamming this thread for the next few weeks, lol

(6079)

I'll help out.

I spent some time last week at work reading up on German building codes. Interesting observation: I recognized the word "abstand" because it appears on road signs in Germany referring to safe following distance. Well apparently in building codes it also is used to refer to setbacks from property lines.

Yeah, it would be nice to get a new computer, but definitely can't afford one now.  By the time I could afford one, it will probably be an AI quantum computer.

Doom definitely, but probably not Crysis.  What was the first video game you remember playing?

something really old, probably from the Commodore era, lol

Like, we had a computer class in school where we were able to play games, and all the systems were super old, but I didn't know what they were at the time.

As for a game who's name I remember along with the system? Either Super Mario Bros or Legend of Zelda on the NES, lol. But I was old enough that the SNES had been out for a while and we were starting to get ads for the N64 as my intro to video game ads. Man, I miss the 90s, lol

The "SimCity 4" vanilla Opera House is the most evil thing in existence. Avoid.

I still play the original Doom games from the 90's.  I will also break out SimCity 3000 on occasion.  And of course I still play SC4.  Are there any old games you still play?
