I figured it probably was a boxing thing.

 

Personally I don't see the appeal of watching a couple burly dudes punch each other in the face. I mean compared to fighting in video games it's flat and boring. Somehow punching just isn't satisfying when it doesn't send your opponents flying off the screen, and you can't couple it with shooting laser guns and throwing Poke Balls at them.

I love Incubus, I saw them three times after Morning View came out, including once at the Rolling Rock Town Fair back in 2001 or 2002 (I can't remember anymore) with the Deftones, STP, some others.  I don't know what tickets are going for their shows this year, but I won't be going either way.  I have to focus on my wife's visa, getting gainful employment, etc etc.  I'd like to go, though.  What a cool show that would be.

I was more a fan of Incubus in the early days. Make Yourself was a great album but it marked a change from their heavier sound from the previous 2 albums. Back in those days I couldn't get enough heavy music. I should probably give them another listen now that I've calmed down.

 

I was never really a fan of Seagal but Under Siege was on last month and I totally watched it.

 

I don't have any desire to watch boxing or really any other sport I consider boring. However, if I hear about an epic play or something incredible that happened, chances are I'll give it a look. Speaking of epic plays, anyone see the absolutely not pretty but still totally effective triple play in Pittsburgh the other day?

For me, Morning View is the pinnacle of Incubus' discography, but I was introduced to them with Make Yourself (although I did go out and buy S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and Fungus Amongus back before I went to college).  Their most recent effort, If Not Now, When? has been described as elevator music, and yeah, the whole thing is pretty mellow, but those guys are pushing 40 now.

 

The summer Grand Sumo Tourney started Sunday.  My boy Kisenosato's undefeated, and with Hakuho losing on the first day has the inside track on his first tourney win!  I... just hope he can pull it off.  Still 12 days left.

This discussion is now beyond me since "Drive" is the only Incubus song I actually know.

 

I feel like Incubus is one of those bands where you keep hearing the name but never hear most of their music unless you either make a point to or hang out in the right crowd. "Drive" was their only mainstream hit.

We have the right numbers. The number of replies doesn't include the first post so it will always be one lower than the last one. If you're on the desktop site you can also look in the upper right corner of any post to confirm it has the correct number.

Furthermore, there are always 30 posts per page, so the first post on every page should end with a 1 and the last (once the page is complete) should end in 0 and be a multiple of 30.

I don't have a number for all moderators past and present but I will say it's definitely not as high a number as you might think. There has never been a particularly high turnover rate, typically staff remain staff for years. Also, there used to be a much smaller team of moderators simply because the site was a lot smaller and there weren't nearly as many subforums to look after. When I first signed up there were only about a dozen staff members, there are several times that now.
