It's my 22nd birthday today.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

I've heard you can order a teriyaki burger at McDonalds in Japan. Is that true?

It is.  In Thailand they call it the samurai burger, or maybe the Mcsamurai, I'm not sure.  Apparently most countries have unique offerings just to them, and the teriyaki burger ain't it.  Instead, they have the McKroket sometimes, a tsukimi burger, some kind of weird patch of deep-fried shrimps in the shape of a hamburger that I can't remember what it's called, and then they have done some really, really good America-themed ones, like a Texas burger with barbecue sauce (delicious).  There were also New York, Hawaii, and some other ones.  Not all of them are good, but they're not bad, either.

Also, I'm 32.  Get off my lawn.

I feel so young being only 18 (at least I'm turning 1 next month).

    You are getting younger? :O

2168: Yep, I am Benjamin Button. Either that or my 9 key doesn't work.

It's probably the first reason. I'm turning 21 next month :)

I bought a copy of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button a couple months back. I was thinking it was Meet Joe Black. Both are good movies. I did the same thing with Matrix Revolutions thinking it was Matrix Reloaded. In that case only the latter is a good movie. I have The Matrix on, are you ready for this?

VHS! And nothing to play it on.

I would never stand in line to buy something at launch like that. Wait just a little bit and you can bypass all the madness.

Meanwhile, I am not in the market for a PS4 or an XB1 (I hate that name, by the way) as neither have any games I am totally dying to play. I will have to get a Wii U at some point before the next Super Smash Bros game comes out, though, because hey, MEGA MAN is in it!

Meh.  In my mind consoles were over after either N64 or PS2.

I've just been following the series that have existed since the 8-bit era, but other than that, I've no need for anything new.

I bought a PS3 a few years ago for two games which turned out to suck and a third game that ended up getting cancelled. Nowadays it's never touched unless I need to play something on blu-ray.

I definitely won't be buying any new consoles but if a friend does I will surely try them out sooner or later.

Bad O2 sensor!  Bad O2 sensors of the world unite and drive people nuts with their pointless CEL warnings!  Of course, it could be something more serious, but CEL usually is keeping watch on the emissions system, and faulty O2 sensors are so often the reason.  Take it to Autozone or wherever and have them do the OBDII reading or whatever the heck it's called.  You should be able to find the code's meaning in a book or on the 'net.

Check Engine Lights are always coming on. On some cars I think you can reset it yourself by holding in the odometer button for 10 seconds or so.

The error code says "evaporative emissions control system pressure sensor range". Which means either the sensor is bad or my gas tank is no longer airtight. One of my friends suggests that the o-ring on my gas cap may have degraded. Another suggests that the vent valve might be malfunctioning. Yet another says the light'll probably eventually go off on its own if I ignore it. It's probably not a big deal but after the (I assume unrelated) snafu I had yesterday, I'm taking nothing for granted. I'm going to have the dealer look at it and see if they can fix whatever it is. For two reasons:

    1) if the light is always on I won't notice if a more serious error comes up

    2) I'm required by law to fix whatever the problem is at some point - when my car is due for its next emissions test (which, granted, is over a year away), the check engine light being on will cause my car to fail inspection.
