And everyone likes to bash the Mets, especially here in New Jersey, where barely anybody is a Mets fan. I'm used to it. But just you wait, they'll have their glory just like the Red Sox did last year. And remember, the other team in town hasn't won since 2000.

To All: The Ocean Point update will be huge as a whole, so it will be divided into many smaller parts. There will be several main sections, each with their own parts. The first section is downtown. Downtown will have three updates- one tonight, the other two probably in the next three days or so.

King: Thanks for the compliments. I'm really glad that you like downtown Ocean Point, as a whole lot of work has gone into it. I think that will be it for the tall buildings in Ocean Point though, because there's just enough of them to make it realistic.

keep saying that to yourselves that the mets will win....wow this cj gets alot of updates.  The Financial district is really nice.  Is there alot of business there.  If there is, how did u get it that way.  When i make a downtown (try to)...buildings grow but become abandoned quick because there is no business.

Anyways, thanks for the compliments on that last update. I'm glad you like the financial district. All buildings are grown by themselves, I don't use the old plopp modd or whatever they call it now. It's the careful zoning technique that gets buildings like that. There has to be high CO$$ and CO$$$ demand to get skyscrapers. That demand has to stay at or above zero, or your skyscrapers run the risk of abandonment. Even though I don't use many skyscrapers anymore, I'm still an expert on them. I know their stages, what kind of demand they need, etc. It seems like everyone downloads these BAT buildings now, but I like the Maxis buildings myself.

utora: Thanks for the compliments. I'm really glad you noticed the classiness of downtown Ocean Point! That's exactly what I'm going for. That's another reason that I like sticking to the good old Maxis buildings. Most of the BAT buildings I see are too modern, or don't have that older look to them that I like. As for the road layout, I'm really glad you like that too. It has barely changed since the beginning of this CJ in downtown Ocean Point.

To All: There may or may not be an update today. I actually doubt that there will be one. When it comes, it will probably be Tuesday or Wednesday. It will be a very good update, Part Two of the Ocean Point Downtown update.

dhoppeii: Thanks for the compliments. I'm really glad you like the buildings, even though I only zone and hope something good develops. And thanks for complimenting the transportation, it has always been a main focus of downtown Ocean Point.

RHF: Thanks. I guess a main reason that I don't download BATs is because I played this game the most long before the BAT, long before even the lot editor, way back in early 2003. So I've always liked the Maxis buildings. I play at a much, much slower pace now.

Sc4_cewl: Hey, long time no see! Great to see you in here. I was just looking back at my OCPS CJ, the one that was the biggest one on Simtropolis (Now far from it) back in 2003, and you were easily the biggest supporter of that CJ way back then. Thanks for the compliments, I always appreciate it coming from a great CJer like yourself.

Darmok: Thanks for the compliments. As you know, I think Anduin Valley is one of the best and I get a lot of inspiration from there. I've always been big on making sure that my cities don't have too many skyscrapers, so I'm really glad that you like the balance there in downtown Ocean Point.

Sorry for the double post here. I'm just going to announce that the update will not come tonight. Sorry for that. I'm busy with baseball every Monday. Tomorrow is Tuesday, my Mapp Squad uploading day. So there may not be an update tomorrow either, although there's a pretty good chance there will be one.

The next update will be Part Two of the Ocean Point Downtown Update. It will have several more close-up pictures of downtown Ocean Point.

DA: Thanks for the compliments. I'm really glad you like the baseball stadium; considering how big of a baseball fan I am, I made sure that the baseball stadium was in the perfect spot and that it's surroundings would look great as well.

utora: You have a really good point there. It seems like every CJ I see now that has at least some skyscrapers, it's loaded with BATs and very few, if any Maxis buildings. I guess you can call me an SC4 puritan- and a big one. I use no mods (Save for PEG's Brigantine Water Mod which does not effect gameplay), no cheats, and the only lots I use are joerg's airport and PEG's seaports. I have one BAT, the NDEX Atltantic Plaza, but it doesn't grow very easily so I don't use it. The only custom content I use is maps. I'm really glad you like the fact that it's nice to see a CJ with the Maxis stuff.
