I love the Bank of America Building. How high is the base in-game? It would be great if it works with raised terrain, like the building does in real life.

Thanks all. About the height of the plaza, it's the main difficult for this building.

Well, I think, this building will be set with the lot-editor and it will be plop in incline terrain like the real.

But I'm not yet at this problem :) , I've a lot of details to added for the plaza. This is a big guy :)

Here an other update of the BoA center, but don't worry with this first aperance, I've just do render without the ground map to limit the render time with the reflects ( but it took 1hours and 32 mins  ).

The trees and grass textures need to be more green :)

Yeah I can imagine the base is problematic - a plop into terrain would be the best option as is real life the base is only visible on 3 sides. Do you have any other Los Angeles buildings in mind? It has been a rather neglected city when it comes to BATs. The Westin Bonaventure Hotel would be an interesting project.

Anyway thanks again for devoting so much time to a Los Angeles landmark!

Like elavery has said, I love how you are making L.A. BATs. San Diego is also a neglected big city, so maybe you can make stuff there too.

Just a quick idea concerning how you can get this building into SimCity:

You could "cut" the model at a height where the top of the base would be at ground level, and make the remaining part of the base below as a foundation.

This would make it possible to get the building to grow in game - if it grows on flat land, it will have a level base, and if it grows on a slope, some walls of the base will be visible.

For the ploppable version, both the building and its foundation could be used as props overhanging a core lot on three sides (the sides where the base is supposed to be visible). Then you could plop down the building and lower the terrain around these three sides so the base would be visible there.

This is a great looking building!

The plaza is really starting to look great, for the greenery, if you aim for olive-grey (say RGB 74/92/62) then it should work

Quite the fortress of a building; I'm looking forward to watching progress on that plaza.

@Elavery: thanks for your support ;) nd your request.

@Loonyman: Thanks for your request ;) . I haven't foreseen to make all the buildings from California in once :) . This city has too many beautiful buildings, but San Diego is probably possible after several buildings from Texas :P .

@T Wrecks: Thanks for this idea ;) . Actually, I don't know how I'll programmed this huge plaza.

    @Gutterclub: Thanks :)

@mattb325: Thanks for the advice ;) and I'm glad to see your visit on my thread.

@Za: Thank you. The plaza is the big piece of his building. I'll post some picture of his improvement ;)

@cloud92: Texas is my next State :P ,

Do you have any buildings in mind to do from Kentucky? I live in Lexington, Kentucky. Not a very big city, and don't have many skyscrapers. So just an idea :) I know you have done a few in Louisville, KY before. Great work on them!

Good luck on your mission! :)

That plaza is looking good. What I don't see is the waterfall that runs from plaza level into the pond, a very minor detail however.

To my eye the grass looks too saturated and the trees are still too dark. The grass also looks like it's reflecting the trees in some areas and you want the highlights (reflection color) of the trees to be green, not silver.
