The houses with solar panels seems to be how low-residential would be inside a hi-tech specialized city.

It is interesting to see non-American flags on buildings, such as the Canadian flags on the abandoned buildings.

SC2000 for example (unmodded) has all flags being American flags.

I love that apocalyptic look to the abandoned cities. I wonder if that's what happens when you click "abandon" or is that what happens when all of your sims move out..?

Meteor strike causing it ? Or something?

Ocean's stuff is crap aside from the curved road bridge IMO, but at least Guillaume's pic is nice.

I think its because hes working on landscape stuff doesn't need all the graphics on display.

The Canadian flags are sims from a neighboring city. ( that's the avatar of the neighboring player.)

It's nice to see some pics of what abandoned buildings look like (it's very post-apocalyptic). I'd also be interested in seeing some pics of how high wealth buildings change when a lower wealth class moves in.

The graffiti tags on the streetcars are a nice touch! Would be great to have a crosswalk out to the streetcar stations since the poor sims have to cross three lanes of traffic to get out there.

That's probably my favorite screenshot that they've released so far.

Very beautifull the best screen they've released..! Im so happy to see this screen, i hope for more modern asian/european building appartement/office styles. I DON'T like the 3d fish eye view buildings like the buildings in societies and cities xl that looks so fake.

The textures and small details are definitely improving, I would probably buy this game but as always I hold back 'cos you never know... But each day it's definitely looking more promising...

    Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

    This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

For some of the textures they just need to add some "dirt weathering" type overlay on it and it will great then! When its too clean it looks too artificial or cartoony.

Very interesting. I bet that those from the neighbouring city must be run by a Canadian. Would it be possible to customize flags for sims (such that it does not resemble a real jurisdiction's flag)?

Minimum graphics settings from someone running the beta:

    m3FwouM.jpg

Is it just me or does the second screen show a tile a LOT larger then the tutorial video one?
