Interesting set up in those hills...I like the river and the way you made the canal set look like a dam.Aswell as the waterfall....very nice!

Good job so far and I might consider starting a new CJ,but with this new CJ section thing...I might not even put up my new CJ....

Hopefully either they will make the new CJ section work or just leave the good old CJ forums we have here...

sorchin, my friend...

...just when I was starting to get complacent about ploppable water...

sorchinlaketb4.jpg

The shoreline of your mountain lake and the surrounding area are just "jaw-hits-the-floor" good.  You are really making me relook the use of Goldiva's reefs as a shoreline plop-prop, along with about ten other possibilities that what you have done bring to mind.

Amazing work.  Developing Macedon is a "must-stop," in my opinion, on anyone's daily CJ rounds.

bat: hey buddy thank you very much44.gif There are a few of them. The original is here. I would suggest you do a search on the STEX. Type in canal and a whole bunch of add ons can be found for this base set.. Also check out here. This is a river rapids add on that can only be found on Pegasus' site. You need to register first though..

wallasey. Hey my good friend. I really appreciate your continued support. Thank you9.gif

jaqulina: Hello Jacky my good friend. Yes I enjoy doing that. I like to let everyone see what I'm thinking before I do it... Thanks again..

cityhawk. Hey mate. The first pic on my next update I'll do a regiion pic. I was going to do it but I keep forgetting43.gif. Take care my friend...

PhilsCafe: Hello buddy Phil. Hope all is well? Thanks for your compliment my friend.. It's a new add on to the canal system actually. It can be found here on Pegs site. Take care mate...

Cjah: Well I certainly hope you'll be doing another CJ my good friend. I miss going into your journals.. I like the old journal section too. I hope it won't change.. Unless the new one is a vast improvement... We'll see I guess...2.gif

    luigiguy: Thanks buddy and welcome.

collgab: Thanks my good friend.. I'm trying to update as fast as I can before the next Ice age hits..2.gif

dedgren: WOW. What a great compliment my good friend43.gif. I truly appreciate it buddy... BTW. It's not plopable water. It's the new (well sort of new) canal add on found on Pegs site.. Go here and download.. It's really neat what you can do with it...

gurrgkud. Hey buddy thanks my good friend... Take care...

    A199999999: Thanks bbuddy.. and welcome...

No update today unfortunately..5.gif Very busy. Hopefully tomorrow as I'll work on creating somthing (I'll figure something out) tonight..44.gif

Take care my good friends and have a fabulous day/evening..

I like your suburbs, and the use of the small castle. It makes the place look more rustic and charming! Looks good!

I'm looking forward to an update. I'm sure everything you'll come up with will be great 9.gif... no pressure though... 2.gif.

PhilsCafe: Thanks buddy. Yes Pegs site is really cool. There is alot of custom content to download there..PRESSURE... ME >>> NEVER46.gif

jacqulina: Hey Jacky my good friend. Thanks very much as always..

    Small Update Dedicated to raul39

Just a small update today. I'm very busy at work this week. Hopefully I'll have a bigger one later this week. I might even have time to work a liittle on my Castle BAT as well44.gif I'm continuing the river path. I'll be using a combination of 4 different river systems when all is said and done. Pegasus' Ponds, The BSC RPK Vol1 River Rapids set, Jeronij's Plopable Water, and my own river rapids Filler Lots. There is still much to do but I can at least show you what I have done so far. I hope you enjoy:

But first click on the Thumbnail below to get a region view update of where this city is located:

    regionview4pq2.th.jpg

Now lets see the City pics. The first is a zoomed out view of the soon to be river(s):

    riverrapidsqh2.jpg

An even more panned out pic:

    riverrapids1dg0.jpg

The last two pics show the rivers converging and dropping off into the much bigger lake:

    riverrapids2ir2.jpg

    Now the flora:

    riverrapids3ug2.jpg

That's it for now. Take care everyone...

Fantastic pictures my good friend. I love the waterfalls, especially the big ones at dam lake. What an awesome setting. I like the fact that you're combining the different stream kits, lends a lot of diversity to the region. Also the flora is agreat touch once again, great details. I enjoyed the update it very much Steve.

    Good luck at work.

    Take care.

sorchin, I must say that the presentation of your CJ is superbly done. The well thought out planning and terraforming is very informative and one of the reasons I come back to CJ's is when the creator actually shows how he accomplishes the end result. I will definately be following your CJ in the future.

    Cya around!

    Congrats, Raul-

When you rate a dedication in a CJ as great as this one, you've done something truly worthy.

Steve, hey...we need to put our heads together at some point on this ploppable water thing.  There's so many fantastic ideas you've had here at DM- I think the possibilities are about endless.

    David

jacqulina: Hello Jacky. Thanks, thanks and again thanks. It's always an honor for you to comment in my journal. The underwater trees are a Lot Edited version of jeronij's trees PM me and I'll show you how to do it in the Lot Editor. It's quite simple actually...

PhilsCafe: Hello buddy and thanks for commenting. There are so many great river combo's to use now. dedgren has some great one's as well. Check them out they are really cool.9.gif

ript73: Hey mate welcome aboard my friend. The planning procedure I use is sort of a trademark for me now. I have done it throughout this cj

    collgab: Thanks my friend

gurrgkud: Thanks buddy. I do too9.gif

patriots_1228: Thanks mate, funny you should ask about my Castle. See below...

    bat: Thanks my good friend...

raul39:Well thank you my good friend. If I just put this much dedication into keeping my house clean..2.gif

dedgren: Hey David my friend. Yeah to be honest I would like to use your great plopable waterfall and rapids BAT's as well.44.gif I'll certainly use it in this city. I just need to figure out where. Let me ask you something. Are you pretty good with modding?? That is something I (to be honest) suck at.47.gif If your comfortable with it we certainly should put out heads together. Perhaps combining a BAT and MOD? We'll talk more for sure..9.gif

OK. So here is the situation at the moment. Early September I'm going for Rotator Cuff Surgery which means BATTING will be very difficult to do during my recovery periiod. So I'm going to be working more on my Castle BAT than my journal for the next couple of weeks. I simply want to get as much done while I'm able before that time. Journal updates with certainly still be coming, however I would ask you to please check out my BAT thread as well because I'll be updating just as much there as here. After my surgery (if I'm able of coarse) I'll be working mainly on my journal again..

Having said all that I unfortunately have no update in my journal today. Most likely not until Sunday as work is very busy at the moment. However I do have a small update in my BAT thread. Come check it out. Let me know what you think..

Here is the link to my BAT Thread

    Take Care for now everyone...

Take care of yourself mate and see you soon!

I just went through the entire CJ.............and OMG, this is a great one.  I don't know where to begin.  Your under water ruins are incredible and a very unique idea I might add.  I have never seen any thing like that before.  And at one point you say you are not a good batter....you seem good to me.  Either that you you are very good at using L.E.  The water front looks great tooooo.

The way you added the canal work around the Maxis water.  It looks very realistic.  There was few things I didn't like but I have forgotten about them cause there are so many great things in this CJ.  I'll have to keep an eye on this one.

Have a great summer and I'll be back soon.
