For those of you who don't know. There is a new game out called Anno 1404: Dawn of Discovery. I just got it and it really is addicting! You build up a city, gather resources, trade, etc. Somewhat comparable to a city builder, but with alot of other stuff as well.

Excellent maps, dedgren! And you are quickly becoming the SC4 answer guy with all of these technical tips! Never would've known any of this stuff without coming to your CJ. Thanks alot and keep those tips coming! Cya around!

Wow, sorchin! Blew me away with that update! Love the custom lots you created. Any chance of releasing them to the STEX? Great presentation of how you created the mine. Really keeps me coming back to your CJ. Good luck with the surgery! Cya around!

Awesome! Glad to hear you'll be updating this soon, TJD! You're CJ has been an inspiration for me to start my own recreation. I've lurked on your CJ for far too long so thought I better comment. I now realize how much work this must've been and I'm glad you are sharing it all with us! Cya around!

Mr. Beer, you definately take suburban sprawl to the max! Looks awesome and depicts the area very realistically. BTW, I'm from north central Kansas. Down here where there's a whole lot a 'nuttin for miles and miles. All farmland. Look forward to your next update! Cya around!

Yep, image looks good and I'm using Firefox. Looks like you've got the street cul-de-sac mod installed as well. Alot more eye-pleasing then without, that's for sure! Cya around!

Excellent mini-tutorial on highway setup, Darmok! That's some definately useful information and I will be trying my hand at that soon. That rural highway looks cool. Going to have to download that asap. Hope you continue with the tech shots! Still haven't made it clear through this entire journal, but I'm enjoying each and every page along the way! Cya around!

Great update, thomil! The road construction is coming along nicely. Very realistic! Gotta love the Lake Sleeve area with the farms surrounding it. Green Fields looks like a really nice quiet place to live. Can't wait for the next updates! Cya around!

Hi jacqulina! I promised I'd comment and I apologize for not commenting sooner. I've been following your CJ for quite a while, enjoying the beautiful scenery in Paradise Falls. It's amazing that this is even SC4. The streams, dirt roads and wonderful selection of trees you have placed really make this scenic and I'd love to take a drive through Paradise Falls. I hope you update soon! Cya around!

Mr. Beer, I apologize for not commenting earlier. You definately have a knack(sp?) for recreating a midwestern city. I live about 4 hours south of Omaha and I've been there a couple of times and it's definately realistic the way you have it setup. Can't wait for more! Cya around!

"Binky, what do you think?" "It scares the *beep* out of me!"

Excellent use of the construction lots. I really like the way you're showing the construction of the buildings and roads and adding realism to projects such as these. Thanks for posting that link aleking. Going to d/l those asap. Cya around!

Amazing update, sorchin! The details you put into something as ugly as a coal plant really makes it pleasing to look at once finished. I'm curious, what is that lot that you placed next to the coal plant (with the pipes and 2 signs)? I've never even thought about adding parking areas to my power plant before. Definately going to have to add some more detail to my industrial areas. Waiting in anticipation for your next update as usual! Cya around!

Wow, thomil! This is by far the most detailed story-based journal I've ever read. Are you making this up as you go along or do you have the entire story already written? I'm not into story-based journals much, but I'll definately be following this one. Very intriguing! Cya around!
