Sorchin, Nice update. It is not vulcanic but muddy I would say now.

The trees a bit too green, the bridge is well thought (kind of NBridges of Maddison County type).

cityhawk: Hey buddy. Thanks for commenting. Your looking for the Rain Modd which when downloaded can be found in the Mayor mode tools under the level ground button. It will be about half way down the list.. When located. Press the button where you want the rain to occur. Make sure there is a small pit otherwise the water won't stay there. When you have water on the ground, build your bridge accross it. Save the city, exit, then re-enter the city. Presto, you should now have a land bridge with no water underneath..

mattb325: It's interesting you brought that up concerning the rock coloring. I was (and have finished) planning on doing that for the final render (see last pic below my friend). Thanks for your input mate..

Update 42 Mine pit expansion Dedicated to GMT  

Well it's been a little bit since my last update. I took a few days off for a breather for one, I also was working on a technical glitch with the flora I'm working on. It took a couple of days to figure out (with alot of help from others) I needed to update a script file in the BAT. Now my BAT works greatand I'm ready to finish the flora set I have been working on.

This update I will be adding on to the mine pit. I haven't spent much time with it but I at least have started to expand.. Lets see what I have done..

As you can see I have greatly expanded the pit with levels..

I have created a new texture. It's a mix of hard gravel and stone. Apparently the huge excavator won't move in mud because it's too heavy. S i decided to make it more realistic..

Lets add a coal dump pile..

Time to add another version of the bucket wheel excavator:

Lastly a simple panned out view of what I have completed with this small update:

As I said a small update, but you get an idea of what I'm planning. Much to do. I figure it will take a few updates to complete..

Most of my time has been spend working on my flora mod. I'm nearly complete. I still have one or two bats to complete as well as some personalized icons to do. But for the most part its done..

Here is a pic of what I have done.. See my BAT thread. (I'll have an update within a few hours there) for the names of each flora bat..

There will be 15 in total..

Thanks for the tutorial on the land bridge. That tutorial was shorter than any that can probably be found elsewhere, and yet it's very understandable, so thanks for saving me time and for giving it to me in the first place.

The mine is looking great, and great idea with looking at the real world with the ground textures. Your flora mods look very nice, and I will have to use them when you release them! Thanks for all the time you dedicate to making SC4 better for everybody else and for showing us your awesome work!
