The texture of the dormer has been changed. I think the real position of the gutter is not around the front wall, but around the back of the building, so I removed the vertical gutter.

    The preview from west :

Edit : Welcome to page 8.

Cool, nice BAT that you uploaded btw.

& why does the second picture of the last BAT does not have the same roof-room's window's texture?

IL : Do you mean the dormer ? I think there is a glitch with the second render.

Your time to take a look of this thread is also the closest from 5,500 that able to tracked. Congrats

    7QLhZ.png

I found a problem with the nighlight, the render from the front side of the house at night always show the greenhouse like if there just too much light there though in the reality, I'm not set it to become too bright..

The greenhouse on the back side of the house :

how do you light it up? with scene lights or with the traditional night textures? It could be that a brighter part of the night window map is showing there. Also I hope you put some more work into your greenhouse, but I guess you already know that :P

Paul : I use the scene light. The greenhouse is not finished yet, and it may still take awhile before I finish the last part of this BAT.

The only weird thing that the problem is the nightlight become so bright when I render it from the front side of the house.

The render of the house from different sides :

    Back :

    wjoY8.png

    Left :

    nryy2.png

    Right :

    7IkBu.png

The render from other sides seems normal. I don't have any idea about the reason behind this weird thing.

Please, somebody, help me to solve it.

I think I see what the problem is. The light shines very bright on the sides of the mullions. It happens in all the views you show. The effect is much more profound in the front view because of the angle though. The mullions are much closer together here so you don't actually look through the window but look at the sides of the mullions. I suggest you close the opening between the house and the greenhouse and light the greenhouse with its own lights, or make the thickness of the mullions smaller ;)

Or maybe try tinkering with the light settings. Tinkering them through trial and error worked for me, once I got a decent omni+spotlight setup I would just use them in all my other BATs.

The 'greenhouse' seems a bit awkward with the lack of a parapet though. Also, it's actually not a 'greenhouse', but it's can be called conservatory or covered porch.

Paul : It works ! Thanks for the help, Paul.

Zahrul : I don't have any other idea about how to call it, probably conservatory is the name that fits better with that part.

    The problem is solved.

The result looks much better than before. Thanks for the help, Paul and Zahrul.

it looks much better now, only there appears to be some tiling in both the roof of the conservatory and the main roof of the second house. I'd fix that. I also think it will look better if you added eaves around the dormer

I really like how you just keep adding on your old BATs to make new ones :D

Nice models too, but I think that front part of the building you added (idk what is it called in english), is too large, it is almost the same size of the house, maybe making it's roof triangular like the rest of the house will be better too.

IL : Look at my signature, the real building is like that. And it's roof's shape is not triangular, and because I make it based on the real one, I can't change it. Thanks anyway for the suggestion.

    He Jason,

I'm going to be bold here, but I don't know what your plans are, but if you are interested in making more varities I've got some ideas. I thought of these options for your building nr.4 or nr.1:

    - dark blue or green woodwork instead of red

    - dark grey roof (or the orange)

    - wooden boards on side like in this picture (white wood also works nicely btw: http://ws003.betaalbaar-online.nl/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Depositphotos_9455086_original.jpg)

It doesn't need to be only above the garage door like in the picture, it could also be on the main building between the roof on the side.

If you shuffle some of the windows around, you could easily end up with a nice set of 4 or 5 varities of your houses with little effort.

Anyway, perhaps you already thought of these options, it's only just that I would really like to have some of these extra's for my game. Well you don't need to feel obligated to do so, just keep it up and I'll see what you will upload next, I like them all, regards,

    Wouter.

IL : Thank you for the comment.

Wouter : Thank you for the suggestion, variation is a good idea. Btw, at this moment, my main goal is to make the house as similar as possible with the real one, but adding some variation shouldn't become a problem.

Well, I just start a new one recently, based on Hoflaan 52, Maasbommel.

The color of the house is generally white, like the real one. Some details haven't added and some textures may need some improvements. The real house (Taken from Google maps):

Any comments, especially suggestions and critics, will be highly appreciated.

He Jason, that building looks cool too, very recognisable. Oh, and the architect gave this one a bit more creative thought than the standard buildings of that period :|.

A little constuctive criticism if i may, just keep that clean/new building look in your textures like the RL version has. The building is not that old and well maintained, so it's not worn out or very weathered yet.

I think you should make the roof texture abit smoother :D

other than that it looks cool.

making a second version with white walls would be a great idea too
