Try zoning smaller lots. If you zone 1x2, space the lots out.

A view of the suburbs of middle haven. To whoever was asking about not letting R$$$ grow. Just make your streets so that you don't have a zone larger than 2x2.

A question Masochist, if I might. What rock and water mods do you use. I can't remember a red like that, interesting look.

Shoreman905: The rock mod is actually PEG's Limestone texture, found in this pack.  It's not really that color, it's more of a duller gray...it just looks that way because I changed the contrast of the picture.  As for the water mod, penguin007's right, it's PEG's Brigantine Mod.

My low wealth suburbs (taken from a central Los-Angeles style low wealth suburban sprawl region). I wouldn't say this is my suburban showcase, but I had some time to take a quick picture. If anyone is interested I will show more pictures of my region (I am trying to get rid of the landfill by dumping garbage into one central location). I also didn't add any schools since I want to keep this city poor and earn a nice income.

Death54, you need to host the image on the web. That link is in your personal files, not accesible on the internet. You can host your image on a site like www.imageshack.us

to do that, just got to the site, click the "browse" button toward the left of the screen, choose your picture file, then click "host" towards the center-bottom of the screen. After that go to the bottom, and it will say "direct URL" (or something similar), and there will be a URL. Copy that, then go to advanced reply, click "image settings" (it's a yellow-ish button), then paste the code into the upper bar. This may be confusing, so it might be better to go to the City Journal section of the forum, and click on the thread about how to make a city journal. It includes how to host pictures.

NOTE: The picture can't be in .png form, and has to be at most 800x600 pixels. Pictures shouldn't be hosted on this site (don't copy and paste your picture). I hope this helps.

EDIT: Umm... did you convert the pic to .jpg or something other than .png? I still can't see it.

--- I will add some more pics soon of my cities called "New Long Beach" and "SUB 4" ---
