Hello everyone!  I have been trying to post this update for nearly four days, its been ready for at least five!  But every night something has happened or come up thats stopped me!  Extremely frustrating, so I will quickly post it to make sure it gets up.

Thanks so so so much for all of those gracious comments!  I must have read them all over at least three times!  4.gif  44.gif  I will reply to every single one tonight but right now I just want to get this update up as soon as possible.

Enjoy, and if you've been lurking on Green Depra then I invite you to come out and comment...

There has been on ongoing disagreement between Green and Gold Depra, and you've seen one side, now here is the other:

Today we are visiting a small area of Canilla, a nice town which has a church built at the centre, and a giant garden complex which is the pride of the city.

Just once a year during spring do the beautiful array of flowers and trees come to bloom, and the gardens come alive...

The wonderful little Shorham Teahouses look out onto the beautiful blooming gardens and the nearby buildings (above).

To the south of the gardens is the wonderful little estate which houses the local market and has a small little museum on local history, a very calming place to visit.  I apologise for this photo as it was raining the day I took it, an unexpected Spring sun-shower covered the gardens...

Leaving Canilla for the moment, and going back to Fur Hills and the little Provara Lake we have two mosaics from the houses there...

I would certainly love to stroll through those parks you have in your city.. Personally the "bums" of your city probably live like kings.. What a lovely scenic drive I just went through..

    Great update! Fantastic pictures!

(Why are the "BSC-Parklots" shown grey bricks, not red bricks? <-- found the reason myself)

Awesome as usual, and when Green Depra's beauty gets too much I can always look at the harshness of Gold Depra. Gotta love that combo!

Ah, summer rain in Green Depra. Very wonderful update, though did you repeat the pictures in both newspapers? I'm caught in Deja vu...

Very nice update, I like the newspaper, too bad you didn't get the games though! Canilla is looking great, a good mix of Italianate and English building styles. The rain in that one picture is great, you have to be one of the best photoshoppers! I'll be here for you're next update!

the rain looks very nice, not like the rain that is coming down where I live right now.

Gold Depra can find its own oil in tar sands or something lol.... pretty typical of them though...

Choco, another beautiful update, and I really like the gardens! Thanks, btw, for your comments... I wish my Trixie was for my CJ skills! I have been very proud of what I've done, but I don't think it's quite gotten to Trixie level, which yours already has! I've made a habit of saving great pics of different CJ's over the years and I've definately got plenty of yours in my little archive to draw off of for inspiration!

Your pics never cease to amaze, and your water has an almost ghostly feel to it (case in point: very top of 4th pic with the tiny outcropping at the end of the point) it's clear enough to see plant life yet almost opaque just a few meters (yards) away, a great combination with the trees. The parks and teahouses are also great (but then again, they must be if they made if they made it into this cj). Great stuff.

Choco, your update was worth the wait!

How in earth name did those cars (green & yellow ones) get tp the tea house?

That old church and that hyper-modern building next to it are a great combo. Intentionally?

On that rainy pic I see a lot of sunshine reflection as well. Pity no rainbow 10.gif

Good luck fighting of the greedy Gold deprians, I hate to see Green Depra being transformed into a oil field.

    Nik-Nik

(.........running of to have a look at CJ of Gold Depra)

Thankyou all so so much for the incredible comments!  I would have done this yesterday, but I stayed the night at a friends so I couldn't!  Cheers!

    personalcommentsbannercq9.jpg

    LINKS YOU WANTED:

    That red prepo building

    Olympic Terrain Mod.

Unfortunately I don't have a link for the plazas or the blue building, but I will track them down.

    PERSONAL REPLIES:

The_Family_Guy Hey mate! Its great to see you, welcome back and thanks for the comments, glad you liked it! Oh and I love that quote in your sig.

Aleking Ah yeah, that’s gotta hurt!

Fallon144 Hehe, thanks, glad you liked it!

vester_DK Hehe, thanks mate! Glad you liked it! I use the rock texture that comes with the Olympic Terrain mod by Cycledogg! Theres a link just above a bit! Cheers.

Ilikehotdogsalot Hey! That building is a beauty by Prepo I think and there is a link up the top, as for those plazas, those are custom creations I made myself in Lot Editor… and I don’t actually know the location of the texture although it might be PEGs. I will look into it for you.

Emilin Hi! Thanks for the comment, I wouldn’t mind moving there myself I can tell you! Haha, yeah, I love playing with the contrast of the two! Green is so fun and happy… but Gold is so evil, and that’s fun too!

    Leech10 Thanks leech!

Yoman3 Haha! I really don’t know! Okay, this time I promise I will check my Lot Editor tomorrow morning and try and find which dependency pack the textures come from. I think they are something BSC, but I made them myself in lot editor! Yeah, it’s a beautiful church, and don’t you just love those showers! I had one the other day, that was my inspiration! Thanks Yoman! Glad you liked it.

connor_v Hey mate! Thanks for popping by, yeah, I have those beaches near by. They freak me out! But look damn cool in simcity! Hehe, good to know! Thanks for the wonderful comments mate! I appreciate it.

Sorchin Oh yeah, it would be a sweet little drive. Thanks mate!

crazychickensc12 Thanks very much! I appreciate it! Oh yeah, it is a pretty mixed little community I guess, strange though! Heh. Yeah, I would have liked to host the Games but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll have time, maybe I’ll try next year. Cheers mate.

Terrymunweihao Thanks mate, its great to see you and even better to hear such gracious words! Cheers!

Magpieshooter Oh yeah, some special Kinata-Aussie Dollars would be awesome! Thanks mate, and goodluck with the Games! I know it will be brilliant!

Owenluby Thanks for all of the gracious comments you leave Owen, I really appreciate all of them! Cheers, oh and I love each and every one of your little cartoon avatars!

Nik-nik Don’t worry, these two feet are staying firmly put in sunny (or not so much) Melbourne. Although, I can tell you if I ever did go to Hawaii then I would be taking Simcity with me! Haha! Oh, one day I will come up with a perfect update that has no flaws! Nah, I really value your detailed and gracious comments mate, thanks for always being around! Yeah, the old-new combo was a little experiment I was trying out, and its good to know it worked! A rainbow! What a brilliant idea! I didn’t even think of that, I’m really glad that you enjoy my little war between my own CJs! Hah, maybes it’s a psychiatric thing! Cheers mate.

    Bat Thanks mate! Cheers.

zachos-prague Thanks, its good to know I inspire someone! Cheers! Oh, and thanks so much for saying they are becoming your favourites.

Jacqulina Hey my good friend! Thanks so much for all of these gracious comments you leave, I really appreciate it and you always motivate me to just keep on going!

MadTV_Freak Haha! Well, that’s extremely good to know! I guess the green left an impression! Thanks for popping by mate!

infinitum19 Hey! Thanks for the comment! What a gracious and wonderful comment, I read it about twelve times! Thanks you oh so much, and I look forward to seeing you back! Cheers.

defcon pilot Hah! Great to see you Defcon! Haha, yeah, games can produce amazing images just like real life! Thanks!

capitol1 You’ve seen more Depraish! Haha, well, I would like to know where! Nah, thanks so much for the comment!

Szarkoz Good idea about the flora! Check the new update and you’ll see I used your suggestion! Thanks!

Tommy_Vercetti3 Yeah, I was hoping no one would notice! Damn! Thanks for the comment!

jglei701 Thanks for the comment, I’m glad you liked its serenity! Hehe. Oh, and no problem, I think its brilliant you won a Trixie for most elegant tongue lashing! That’s the ultimate award you can get! Haha! Oh really, thankyou I’m so glad that Green Depra has left an impression on you and that you might just remember it in the future! Cheers mate.

Fox Oh please, I am loving Mr. Vice! Haha! Thanks mate!

GMT Thanks! Glad you liked it mate! Hmm rain!

MayorTim Hey Tim! It’s a pleasure to have you! Thankyou for the gracious comments, it means a lot from such a great City Designer! Cheers.

ledge69 Thanks very much for the comment and for stopping by, I hope to see you again!

KRAM4346 Haha! What a brilliant comparison, I have never heart that one before! Thanks!

Rayden Hey mate! What I usually do is take 1024x748 images at zoom 5 (I think?) usually then crop them a tiny bit before resizing them! I just play around with the colour balance and brightness, but I like to experiment so each week is slightly different! Haha, don’t worry, its no secret!

Schulmanator Haha, you are very welcome to buy one!

Tommiej Hey welcome! Thanks for popping by, glad you liked it!

Charles Rodulfo Photoedited!? No, it was real simcity! Nah, it was completely photoshopped! Haha, thanks for the comment mate!

SpecialEddie Yeah… I was a little lazy! Shhhh! Hehe, nah I ran out of time, but I will change them next time I promise! Thanks for stopping by mate!

hamsterTK Hey hamster! Thanks for the comment, yeah I agree, Gold should bugger off! Hehe. Oh, this has been buggin me for ages, who is the boy in your Avatar, because I know I have seen the anime that hes from but I just can’t put my finger on it, I was thinking Nausicaa for a while but I’m not sure…

threestooges Oh yeah, I saw the water in game and couldn’t resist taking heaps of images, I thought it looked creepy! Originally actually that outcrop was even larger, but I smoothed it over in photoshop because it was annoying me! But just between you and me. Haha. Thanks mate for the gracious words!

Fallon144 Hi! Welcome to the CJ, I’m glad you liked the update and thanks for opening the page!

Gocanada Hey! Thanks for popping by! That building unfortunately I have no idea which one it is, I tried searching but got nothing, I will try again tomorrow for you though!

Dedgren Hey Dedgren! Great to see you! Its nice to know that you also lurk in my journal as I regularly do the same to your journal, its amazing how large it is now! You’ve done great. Thanks for the nice comments mate. Cheers.

Frogface Thanks FF! I appreciate it!

CDI_spy Haha! Oh, its real! Thanks mate, good to know!!

Rewright Hey thanks! Oh and your new journal looks brilliant!
