It's not for nothing it's called Green Depra. Now even greener.

Love the flags in the first picture. How did you do that ?

... and some great looking collages.

But where are all the trains gone ? A lot of railtracks, but no trains !

I'm back. Wow alot has happened since I last replied. Fantastic sporting complex. I can clearly see that living in Melbourne is having an infulence in this CJ and Congratulations on reaching 50 pages as well. And it has only been almost eleven months. I said earlier how my slow computer has stopped me from using SC4 efficiently and has resulted in lack of interest, well I have a brand new computer and it runs SC4 like a dream and you once again have given me a spark to create a NEW CJ from scratch. Hope to see more lovely mosaic pictures of GD and maybe some focusing on road and rail of Green Depra? Talk to you later.

    Oh, everyone this is terrible!

I just wanted to pop by to say that I'm not dead, and neither is this CJ.

I know I said that the new era of Green Depra was about to start, and it will, but first I need to get over these problems...

First and foremost, I have fallen ill recently and have felt very sick, just out of it I guess.  Some people may have noticed my lack of activity on the forums of Simtropolis.  I guess its just not the best thing when you feel really bad, the computer screen.

And second (and also quite important) my PC broke down, don't worry, I have all the files of Green Depra safe, so there is nothing to worry about.  I can use my iMac to post on simtropolis but obviously not to play simcity so that has left me with no ability to update.  It has been out for at least a week now!  A bad week.

Hopefully these will be resolved soon, and I am feeling slowly better.

Anyway, just popped by to say I miss you all and will be back soon!  You can't imagine how much I appreciate that page of comments!

    Take care, Choco.

    That is rather unfortunate. 8.gif

Good luck with your illness. Take a rest, relax. RL is more important than Simtropolis.

Your second problem sounds exactly like mine. My laptop won't come back from the repair shop till August 8th, at the least. I was fortunate enough to have this PC to back me up. Its good to hear Depra is safe. We can wait, all that matters is that you and your PC are better.

That's terrible, choco. I hope you get to feeling better soon. For now, just take it easy and don't worry about your being on Simtropolis because that is not important.

    Update 36

    The township of Canilla!

Recently, the world renound BIR (Bontevo Industrial Research group) have been working their magic across the the industrial plaza's of Canilla.

    Your Image

Bontevo Industrial Research has been responsible for much of the green-ness of Green Depra.  Bontevo Industrial Research is the leading research orginisation in Green Depra and much of the world in developing clean, safe and advanced high technology industries. They have revolutionised the industrial system in Green Depra by installing safe, clean and grean ways of doing things.  This organisation is the backbone of Green Depra and its industries and has provided the Green Deprovians with a way to get the basic industry they need without damaging the fragile world that they live in.

BIR is a state owned and operated orginisation, it is run by a board of members.  Its board is made of three quarters staff-elected members and one quater government apointed representatives.

It is a sunny autumn day, and with the recent remake of this Canilla areaby the BIR group, it has left it much more green and clean....

Now for some more pretty mosaics...

This are is a brand new development built out of shadows of the Huge Pavata Bridge which spans over Green River and much of its banks...

Ooo, pretty mosaics, choco! I always like bridges, so those mosaics were a welcome sight, and the industry looks good, too! Oh, and I'm honored to be placing my 3100th POST in your great CJ! Take care, and see you next time.

That looks like a really cool bridge to drive over! MIA, but where did you get that oblong green building in the bottom of the second picture? Maybe next time you could show us the other side of the river. I'd really like to see just how long that bridge is. TopCliff

    oh, these mosaiks are great.

    2 questions tho:

    - where did you get this green building in the 2nd mosaik?

    - what are these markings on teh lower left street of the roundabout? I somehow can't remember having ever seen them.

anyway, great work and I'm waiting for more

You will find on STEX. It's Apiatalo by prepo.

Think it's part of the NAM, it's a transition from 2 way roads to 1 way roads.

Looks good, can't wait for more!

You might want to check out the thee that is growing through the bridge.

I really like the photoshop effects you've used in that update Choco. That enhanced contrast really makes those mosaic look like they were real.

You've also showed a really beautiful under-bridge scenery, you should post those mosaic in the topic about under-bridge stuff.

Very nice job Choco, I hope you're getting well soon!

    Nice work there, choco.

I like the way you have juxtaposed your parks within neighborhoods, and your transportaion network looks great.  Of course, I love the mosaics.  Is that a fuzz filter you use? Whatever it is, it's a nice touch...indusrty shouldn't feel so inviting, but you have pulled it off.  As always, keep up the good work!

EDIT: no wait, burn and dodge?

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!  I am in awe, my friend.  Only you can make the clean High-Tech industry look cleaner and brighter!  Well... maybe not only you, but you sure know how to do it right! 3.gif  The bridge looked like a custom one before I realised that it's standard SC4, that's how well you set up your pictures!  Anyways, great job, and I know you'll keep it up! 9.gif
