    Wow, this is such a huge amount of fantastic comments, all of which I am so grateful for!  I am so thankful to everyone that they enjoy my CJ so much. Thanks everyone! 16.gif

    r0g3r Please, be inspired!  I would hate to discourage a good CJer like yourself!  I'm glad you liked the match!

    Fabiocb Thanks, thanks alot! 5.gif

    Darmok Thanks Darmok, I made the fances myself in Lot Editor, thats a fun tool! I had alot of fun making the dam, that was my first shot using Ploppable Water, wow thats a great tool!  Thanks for you support.

    soldyne Thanks, I wanted a natural, organic feel, but something that weird and out there.  Glad you liked it.  Yes, I really wanted to show the slow development and evolution of a nation.  Of course, I've gone off on alot of tangents, but it all strings back into that idea.  Thanks again, I call it soccer, and I am not a usual fan at all.  Never even watched a full match, its not really around in my country (Australia) but I wanted to see if I could do it.  And it was alot of fun, I'm really happy you liked it as well.  I really look forward to reading your CJ, and thanks for the great comment!

    Exhagaga Ah, thankyou so much! 29.gif I've been posting more recently and I'm glad you liked it so much!  40.gif40.gif

    RadioheadFan Thanks so much Jamie!  I'm glad you liked the Maxis-made farms (I have downloaded many other farms, but these ones just won't go away! 2.gif) I'm really glad you liked the update so much and I think you have more talent than me in a different area, the stories in your CJ are matched by no other, and thats no lie!  I fine them engaging and exciting, and I'm in the progress of reading through your old CJ, although its quite a read! 18.gif

    hyped_up_boy Thanks for the comment, well, it was meant to be an island, but it kindof didn't work! 21.gif

    SC4 meister Thanks so much man!  Love your comments!  How did you go with the pics I sent you?  There was a few more farm shots in the last update, but I guess its time for a change!  Cheers mate. 44.gif

    kingofsimcity Welcome to the CJ King of Simcity!  Its great to see a new face and its great to see you liked the update!  9.gif Thanks.
    Simworld 056132 Thanks so much!  Its great that you like the nature side of it!  Well, the farms and scenery takes a long time.  I'm not sure what specifically you want to know but I'd be happy to tell you how I do things if you want! 2.gif Hope you pop by again.
    SYM Productions Thankyou so so so so much!!! I'm so happy that you enjoy my work do much!  I am really grateful and I hope you liked the new update I just posted! I give you ten bunnies out of ten too! 35.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif2.gif

    Thanks everyone!  See you guys next update (most likely tomorrow.  Oh and keep in mind that that residential area was not the most recent photo, it is looking alot better and more high-wealth again now.  I just didn't want to completely re-do that mosaic again. 2.gif

    Sorry about this everyone, I stuffed up the mosaic in my last post.  Sorry for the stuff-up but here is the updated version, its a bit of a preview of the residential development.  Thats right, Green Depra has taller buildings!

    Personal Comments!

    pipishere Thanks man, I'm glad you liked the update!  Yes, I tweak the contrast a bit in photoshop, which gives it the colour you love! 2.gif

    RPGHOTGUY Welcome to the CJ, thanks for your comments!  I'm glad that it reminds you of somewhere you know, personally it reminds me of the Daintree Forest in Queensland.  Although its less of a jungle than that... 19.gif

    Cheers, choco.

    Great updates Max!

    Great to see those region pictures.
    So Green depra has tall buildings as well?..... Let's see....mmmm....they fit very nicely in the environment. Compliments!

    Great that newspaper. I like the article where the goalie has been replaced. Anything like australian football comming soon to Green Depra as well (your from down under isn't it?).

    Llama fur... time somebody found a suitable way for these creatures. (not that they are disposed of28.gif, shaven is good enough29.gif)

    Three updates! How could I miss three updates!

    You ate using a nice railway station. Is it a japanese one? I am asking since I don't know it (I guess I know most of them ...) You just should try to use a slope mod ... especially the railways but also the streets will just look better!!!

    I like the idea of thse two NAM overpasses next to Jeroni's walls but if you have the holedigging lots try the groundlifter to raise the terrain to the NAM height - just for the eyes (but aren't we do play mostly just for the eyes?)

    These shots of that cycle ... nature are great!

    Great work as usual!!!

    Those pictures look vibrant as always. I'm always curious to see how people edit their images. I usually just sharpen my images to about .3 or .4 to bring out details, but I like how tweaking the contrast works for you here. I missed a few updates, but I really enjoyed the rail views on the previous page, as well as the Red Fox Slide interchange from a couple pages ago.

    Nice rail shots and mosaic! I like the fact that you are using the LE. I think I use the LE now more than I play the game. This CJ is indeed one of the most colorful out there.

    Looking forward to seeing your seaport!

     Nik-nik Thanks nick!  Thankyou very much, and if you liked the tall buildings and region your going to love tonights update!  Hmmm, now I don't play or am even into soccer, but there was no AFL fields I could find anywhere, so it was a choice of soccer or baseball!  If I could get an AFL field then that would be awsome!  Thanks for that idea... Yes, the Llamas are treated very nicely when they are shaved, then they are given coats to keep them warm, which is made from sheeps wool... I'm just crapping on! 2.gif Cheers mate!
    sim1234 Thanks very much, I'm glad you liked them! 19.gif
    Nardo69 Yeah!  The three updates came quickly!  Yeah, thats a Japaneese one, I really like it!  Its in the last page of the Japaneese Bat thread.  I do use a slope mod... 1.gif And I also used the ground lifter lot to make that overpass.  But thanks for the suggestions anyway.  Thanks, choco.
    SC4 meister Thanks for your gracious comments, greatly appreciated!  Well, when you do use them let me know! 4.gif]
    Simworld 056132 Thanks heaps simworld!  Thanks for the A+, I'm glad yuo liked the idea of the paper, it was a bit of an experiment, and so hopefully I will make it alot better than it is! (ie. quite boring!)
    oroen I'm glad you liked the colours and just for you, all I do is turn the contrast up 25 points in photoshop! 2.gif I'm glad you liked the Interchange and the rails!  Thanks!
    MasterPlanMan Thanks Masterplan, the LE is a really fun tool, I don't use it all the time but its handy to make things like fences and details.  I just wish you could search the props easier! 19.gif I was going to place the seaport in tonights update, but I wanted to change something!  It wil come soon though! Cheers.

    Okay, I'm preparing the update right now, expect it in a manner of minutes.... 2.gif

    Update 16!

    Todays Update doesn't really have a specific meaning, but its a bunch of random pictures from across Green River..

    Okay, now today I have something very special...  Yep thats right, for the first time I've created a full region picture!  Now, its not nearly big enough to fit on this page but click on the picture to find the huge version!  Please check it out because I think its quite a unique picture.

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/major-region-shot-mini.jpg align=baseline>

    I hope you all enjoy that! It is the east section of the continent of Green Depra.

    Now, lets look at Green River.  The development here has recently boomed, and has been massivly helped on by the massive Inustrial boom in Fur Hills and the Commercial boom in Blackberry Inlet.  We'lll start with looking at some of the less dense areas to the south and then work our way up.

    This area is the housing land between the Fur Hill Farms and the townhouses of Green River, it is kind rural, but kind of in town, its got the end of the Rural style railroad though.

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/GRiver10.jpg align=baseline>

     <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/GRiver111.jpg align=baseline>

    The transition of the rural railway to the town railway.

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/g-river1.jpg align=baseline>

    A small commercial area at the enterance of Green River.

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/g-river2.jpg align=baseline>

    Some small houses in Green River.

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/g-river3.jpg align=baseline>

    A tiny intersection next to the railway.

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/g-river5.jpg align=baseline>

    These are the townhouses and small apartments of Inner Green River, notice that in typical Green Depra fashion, even the buildings are surrounded by green!

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/GRiver1.jpg align=baseline>

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/GRiver6.jpg align=baseline>

     <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/GRiver2.jpg align=baseline>

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/GRiver5.jpg align=baseline>

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/GRiver4.jpg align=baseline>

    And this (I know its small, but every city has to start somewhere) is the hub of housing activity in Green Depra.  These are the tallest apartments ever build in Green Depra and they house thousands of Green Deprovians.  I guess a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll shut up and show you the pictures!

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/GRiver7.jpg align=baseline>

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/GRiver8.jpg align=baseline>

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/GRiver9.jpg align=baseline>

    Well, I hoped you guys liked the region mosaic and the town pictures!  If you read this then please comment, thanks so much guys!

    Wow, I have been gone for awhile. So much to catch up on!

    Really liked your play by play soccer tournament, cool idea!
    On page 5 you show the track down the center of two roads; that really looks neat, very real feel! Are the street lights timed to stop traffic when a train passes by?
    Page seven also! Great showing off the trains chugging along. Another one of my favorite things to see in a great CJ, is trains, plains and autos, etc.
    Now I see the headlines clearly! I just read your front page through the vending window; It's tough to justify $1.20 an issue. Well, in US currency anyways. Of course we do charge a 1.00 for our cities weekend edition, hmmmm,...the price of newsprint!?6.gif

    Wow, nice updates, I especially like that intersection at the top of this update9.gif The region pic is great, the city just looks amazing as part of the landscape.
    Your use of the puzzle pieces has coninced me that they cant be that scary, and that you can make them look great44.gif

    Wow Max.. That region shot is absolutely gorgeous.. I could not stop looking at how the little farm towns, seperated by lines of forest, have grown.. That, tied in with the obvious urban development near the river is absolutely stunning.. Not to mention ofcourse the first in-game screenshot of your last update.. Wonderful work.. I also feel that this is one of the few places where those medium high rises actually look good together.. Well done: I'm amazed! I will definitely keep coming back here!

    Thanks for all your comments guys, a new update is being developed, expect it sometime tomorrow  (my time).

    frndofyaweh Glad you have popped in again! I'm really glad you liked the updates and I too think that trains, plane and cars are a great addition to a CJ! Well, our papers cost $2 here.  Thats in Australian currency and isn't really that expensive considering the difference.  Its actually cheap for here! 18.gif Thanks for your comments.

    pipishere Thanks, glad you liked the houses! 19.gif

    Exhagaga Thanks for your gracious comments!  I'm really happy that you liked the intersection and the region shot, the puzzle pieces can be a brilliant tool sometimes, sometimes they can be just plain annoying!!! Wow, ThankYou so incredibly much for sticking me in your sig!  I really appreciate that!  Thanks! 9.gif35.gif29.gif44.gif PS. I love your new avatar (family guy rocks!)

     jarnomiedema Thanks so much for your comments!  I'm glad you liked my region and farms so much.  I look forward to seeing you come back! Its an honour to have such a great CJer post such great comments in my CJ! 9.gif

    sim1234 Thanks heaps mate!  Nice new avatar! Thanks for your comments. 9.gif

    Fabiocb Thanks man, I'm glad you loved the region picture! Cheers! 48.gif

    That is quite the beautiful region shot. I also really like the first picture in this set, with the train going over the highway, and the cars on the highway, and the gently sloping road underpassing the highway. It's one of those pictures that turns out just right.

    Wow Max... no wonder you're getting so much praise 16.gif... not only is your CJ so darn BEAUTIFUL 25.gif, it's also REALLY realistic 25.gif25.gif... I can't believe my eyes 46.gif... the second pic with the rail overpass was just so striking 6.gif... because that could really exist! 29.gif  We have that in Winnipeg, train tracks on a high banks going through residential areas, then crossing over major throughfares!  And the middle-class outskirts of the city... fabioulous!! 9.gif  And we pride ourselves with our trees... more people should see what's possible!  3.gif  Have a good one and keep updating this CJ... I want more, more, more!!!
