Looks good, but in my opinion you should lose that beige frame... it kinda looks ugly and out of place on that building. If you add some other detailing and neaten it up i might download it.

I really like what you have done to this building since the last time I look at this thread. Then I was thinking that for the upper part of the building, above the windows, it would be good to have that cladding that is starting to appear on buildings, particularly when buildings are being renovated/refurbished. I think it's made up of laquered metal tiles.

I think you should make the top part wider and centerit in the middle. it looks to skinny, or just make the second part taller

I like both, but I think the smaller one is good looking. I like the tables, and such. Makes it very high class. Right now, I am working on a city of nothing taller then the observation deck I made, and thats about 40 stories tall. So many mid-rise to Low-rise are always appreciated.

thanks everybody!

HighRiser, i will realse them both, but as separate buildings 3.gif

HoustonBAT, cool to hear! glad someone else likes mid-rises hehe, do u have a CJ?

tuna, the top part is a pretty good size i think, it's just abit wider than 1x2 tiles. and for raising the middle part, that is possible... it might make the building look more squatty though because it is pretty wide, about 4 tiles wide.

DT, what's wrong with the reflective texture!? i do plan on fixing the other strip color though 3.gif

I saw a couple people post they would look at your AMA building overgrowth problem. Has anybody looked at it? Fixed it? I would love to see this building in my cities. I hope somebody fixes it soon. 34.gif

Why do I feel like I'm being ignored? If your not going to fix it, at least tell me so I will stop looking for an updated version. 7.gif

I thought the reflections looked pretty nice. The top of that building reminds me of the top of Chicago's Waterview Tower. 1.gif

This might actually look half way good as a skyscraper. Looks like it's footprint is gonna be huge though... I say 5x5 is generaly the maximum for me, otherwise I have trouble fitting them in tight downtown areas.

Just poking my head in to say I'm still alive and buried under a sea of studio projects 7.gif

At any rate... Jes... love the new buildings, especially the shorter version!  Btw... the name of the building is sort of a dead giveaway... this is modeled after the first of three towers proposed for The Summit.  Now gimme my $%&^! ducks!!!

And, I would like to dedicate half of said ducks to ebur for mentioning Waterview Tower :)

    thanks eburress, JaWood and vid!

eburress, thank you! i really like the texture too, geoff made it, and since i don't have photoshop he can make the really nice textures! it gives it a very nice glassy look i think...and with a realistic reflection! and you're right about waterview! that's where i got the idea for the roof things :P

jawood, only halfway good? what ya think need improving? it would not be 5x5, 5x3 MAX or maybe 5x4, OR if im lucky, it will be able to fit on 4x3/4x4. but we'll see

glad to see you're alive geoff! and supprised u know about the summit, being in being in Bellevue wa and all

    thanks superstar!

last night i rendered the short building (summit building B) and it turned out great! except for the fact that i can't get the night lights to work 22.gif. once i get this sorted out it shouldn't be too long for this to get on the stex.

Oh, did you name the group anything else? I learned the heard way that it MUST be named night windows, or else it will preview, but fail to render.
