Never thought this day would come.

With the summer winding down and the school year starting, real life has decided to take over.  My scholastic and social life is going to take over most of my time, so coming here is simply becoming too difficult, unfortunately.

I've been an active member for quite some time, over two years, and have made so many friends, too many to name.  This was the first forum I was truly close to, and the first one I've moderated.  I may be bias, but this has to be one of the best forums ever constructed, and Dirk isn't the only one to thank, although I think he did play a large part in its creation.  The dedicated and loyal group of moderators, admins, fans, and followers kept this site going even through some tough times.  I just hope I helped, in some small part, in this wonderful site.

So this is it, the grand finale, the last cookie in the jar, the last paragraph of a great, or lousy novel, depending on your opinion.

So... on that note, I bid you farewell, Simtropolis.  Thank you!

Sheesh, I can hardly imagine a time where Simtropolis wasn't without it's own dalai llama... I've always appreciated your sage advice and your calm level-headedness in all matters -- not to mention your ability to forgive the transgressions of others, and to try to go to bat on their behalf (you know what I'm referring to )

 

Thanks for helping to shape this community, you will absolutely be missed...
