The FlexFly can't go over diagonal networks yet.

Probably won't be able to for a good long time.

Is it actually possible we'll get to see FlexFly for other networks, too? As in, RHW-4, for example, or is that straight up not possible or too tedious?

RHW-4 is planned.  We have models and paths already for it, but the coding side is going to require a huge undertaking.  Crosslinks are a killer.

I've hidden one new RHW feature in this picture...

rhw_wheresthatnewfeature01.jpg

... now where is it?

Best,

Maarten

I've found it, a yellow stripped RHW under bridge, sure that's a new feature. Where's my prize? '-'

EDIT: :ducky: :ducky: :ducky:

Meh, no. That's just an RHW-4 deconverted to an RHW-2 due to stability issues. The real new feature is the L1 6S-8S transition. ;)

(Or you are joking, eh? :P)

Just a little ask, how can I do a RHW 6S tunnel? I wanna do a tunnel under AVE 6 and make a diamond interchange at downtown, cuz maxis avenue isn't handling all my 2 cities traffics :S

Not impossible. But you can flyover the RHW-6S over AVE-6... ;)

Ive started using the RHW and have been getting the hang of building on/off ramp interchanges and freeways intersecting. My Only real question seeing as on/off ramps can end up being a few city blocks big is how is the Commute time affected by, If a single lane offramp ends up being a quarter mile/ half mile long do they blaze down like a freeway with the same commute time?

If you're using the MIS Ramps or the RHW-4 for the ramps, they're RHW-based networks, so they'll operate similarly to the mainline in that regard, and length won't be much of a factor.  That's the main reason we didn't implement the MIS as OWR-based, as some had originally proposed--it would have put longer, more realistic ramps at a significant disadvantage.

Will there be more exits for the L1+ RHW?

The plan, since the elevated RHWs were implemented, has been to have them have more or less the same slate of exit/entrance ramps as the ground ones.  However, the elevated RHW ramps are far more difficult to make.  With the ground ones, we can just make some textures and crank those out.  The elevated ones, however, require models to be made according to very particular specifications (the domain of an extremely small number of specialists), so progress on that front has been extremely slow (and will continue to be extremely slow indefinitely).  There's been Type B1 ramps for all the ground networks for 5 years now, and we only just added L1+ Type B1s for just the RHW-2 and 4 in NAM 31 last year.

I have an issue with bridges. Can anyone help out please.

I tried with RHW-4 and 6 using the MHW to drag the bridge.

I looked everywhere but couldn't find anything.

Try to use a L0 RHW-4 filter.

When you've walked the tab rings for FLUPs, did you see any pieces for RHW or NWM?  I don't think so.  Therefore you need to seek other solutions.  For RHW see Tarkus' reply in the NAM support thread.  I don't think NWM has any underpasses unless you could somehow construct a tunnel.

BTW, it is not couth to post the same problem in more than one forum.

Can someone please explain in a little more detail how to fix this? I have exactly this same problem and don't know how to fix it :(

It's already fixed in NAM 32; if you don't have it yet, download it right away.
