Epiphany is when the 3 kings arrived to Bethlehem.

Us Catholics have more than a month of Christmas from the first Sunday of Advent (November 27, 2011) to the Babtism of the Lord (Sunday after Epiphany, January 8, 2012).

We also have 2 weeks of Easter, Holy Week (week leading up to Easter) through Easter Week (week after Easter). We also have Pentacost and some of us respect Passover even if we do not celebrate it (we mention it in our prayers and sermons). We also take note of Rosh Hashana.

Well, I've just gotten a pet tortoise for Christmas He seems to be obsessed with doors though, as whenever he sees one (usually an open door), he charges at full speed into it and starts trying to push it open (with little success, as he's pushing the already-open door against the wall )

I got some new skis, Reason 6 (Kind of like Garage Band but more advanced), a midi keyboard to go with that, some cologne, iTunes music, a few books, and a whole bunch of other stuff...

I have an aunt and uncle who, a few years ago, were planning on getting everyone iTunes gift cards for Christmas. I of course made it clear that this was unacceptable and that if they gave me one I would be burning it (only thing I am willing to do with anything made by Apple). They got me a gift card to Borders instead.
