I used to be kind of a beer snob. Now I'm not so picky. I prefer Newcastle Brown Ale but that can be expensive. I like Guinness Draught but not the Extra Stout. I recently became a fan of Bud Light, which is a beer I would have turned my nose up at in years past. It's way better than Budweiser, which I still despise. If I'm out and about I usually go with an MGD. It's tasty and reasonably priced.

As far as getting drunk goes, Duke is right. There is getting drunk and there is getting drunk. There's no good reason to be fall down drunk, but that's not to say I haven't been there.

I guess I sort of failed on the wearing green part. All I did was put up some shamrock decorations. Now that that's over, I guess the next big thing is the first day of spring (or fall for some of you). The trees are already gettin' their green on here, and they didn't even wait for St. Paddy's Day.

I honestly notice no difference between Bud Light and regular Budweiser. Same stuff, just one has fewer calories.

I like it, but I will only buy it begrudgingly if there are no other other acceptable options. Because, you know - they took an American icon and sold it to the Belgians, and then they continue to go around advertising it as the great American beer. Some nerve! Anheuser-Bush can go... uh, you finish the sentence. ;)

When i grow up, I'm never going to drink alcohol, after hearing about what it does to your body.

Depends on who you choose to listen to. Alcohol in moderation is supposedly healthy. For all I know, that statement is the result of a study funded by brewers. And for all I know, yours is a study funded by Quakers.

The way I see it, everything should be consumed in moderation.

I know that fact only about a little ammount of red wine sometimes, not about alcohol in general.

The primary thing with wine is the same as with tea: antioxidants. Which, according to some dietary crackpots, supposedly slow down the effects of aging.

Although, even predating that health fad, studies apparently indicated that a glass of wine a day is good for heart health (why, exactly, is not stated).

Alcohol itself is a great antibiotic. It chemically destroys viruses and kills bacteria. So, if you're worried that something you just ate might give you food poisoning, have a few beers. :D

It's also immunosuppressive, though, so drinking after you've already gotten sick is not a good idea.

Nathan, if you don't want to drink, that's your choice, but I warn you that it will make having a social life in college very difficult.

I've heard the same about beer actually, but who knows?

I agree that if you don't want to drink, then you may as well not drink. But having a beer after a hard day is rather relaxing. Funny, my dad said the same thing to me when I was young and declared I never wanted to drink.

Topps has put a lot of little fun facts about their old baseball cards on the back of cards this year (seeing as it's their 60th anniversary). I've spotted a couple of mistakes in said fun facts. What does that say about me?:whatevs:

Normally one might think that that's an "okay, time to put down the baseball cards and go do something else for a while" moment. But after having used 10 redemption codes on the diamond giveaway website, I got a coupon for $10 off at the Topps online store. Clearly, this is a sign that I should buy more baseball cards. :]

Series 2 comes out June 8th. I preordered a case. Either I have lost my mind, or I have too much disposable income. Maybe a little here, a little there...

"Everything in moderation" doesn't quite hold. Plutonium is a counterpoint. There's no safe dose of that.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

Still no CMLs.

I rather enjoy the odd beer every now and then (in the last two years I've probably averaged 1/month). In college, I rather enjoyed the odd beer every couple of minutes. Things change, you know?

I must have missed the whole outage (prepping for my move this week).

I can't imagine stopping.

Actually, I can, because I did for a couple years, but that was on account of lack of funding - something which I hope will never be an issue again.

I hope every one has their zombie escape routes planned if there is indeed an uprising of the living dead.

I know how I will escape. Hopefully, they wont reach me 10 floors up, and I should be able to see them coming, but if they do, I can fight them off with what I have in my room.

Has anyone else taken the time to figure out there own escape routes?

Must remember to get a cricket bat, just incase...
