Alright, this is that same interchange but re-configured as the main access point for the regional airport. Really, it's just a complicated on/off ramp with some lanes dumping directly into the airport and other lanes providing surface street access to the surrounding neighborhoods.

I'll post it one more time after it's been fully dressed up and the surrounding city has grown in.

Getting back into the rhythm of SC4 after a long break by laying out the transit network in my new region. Just finished a basic 3-way intersection.

My full stack is now operating. I got the morning commute to use every direction but one... almost!

How do you like your partially unrolled cloverleafs? Enormous? :D

Just practising and getting used to the NAM again. Took me longer than it should've!

Looks great! It will take time yes and always takes longer than you think.

    -----

Funnily enough, I just made a similar design to yours today, putting both flyovers in one quadrant.

    Let there be an interchange:

That looks great! I'm looking forward to getting stuck into some cities and creating some designs that get proper use. I love that about your work - you get full value from your layouts! The diagonal ramps didn't work for me as I wanted RHW4 ramps all round, but it would've given me more compact outer loops, but I like how you've used that to get the 90 degree turn over the top of the 270 inner loop.

What would a good example of a T-intesection look like with a RHW running East to west and a RHW running into it from the south. A body of water is to the north of the RHW RUNNING Parallel east -west.. ?

    Hello everybody,

my fisrt interchange in my big region. The most difficult in this creation is to find the good section, part and adjust the height of the different areas. Indeed the interchange is built on a steep area (why making things easy if we can make it difficult (not sure for the translation *:D)).

I need now to make it nicer with trees, retainer walls, etc...

    Great work guys!

    ---

I've been working on a mountain highway. Not many interchanges on it but here's one. Was a pain to slope it all properly.

    Here's a couple others.

The FAR used here makes for the shortest possible, but still smooth half moon loop radius that fits into the roundabouts. Looks kinda unique.

And here is a elongated folded diamond

This was going to be a 'haferchange' (half interchange) but showing progress with the rest of the NAM team, they convinced me to build a full interchange here.

It's set farther back due to the proximity of this interchange to the east I have shown previously. This maximizes the weave space between them.

More interchanges you say? Been on a bit of a building spree while extending a highway.

Nothing crazy this time but sometimes simple is also very cool.
