This image is absolutely breath-taking!

Hundreds of questions (a newbie you see...)

Can someone plz direct me on what I should see to build such cities?

How are these low level plazas created?

Which canal system is this that supports these plazas?

Does this low-level tram line travel over the canal?

Does this low-level tram line travel under the city to the right? With no slope?

Simply amazing!

Lots of questions here...

They are PEG's UT Mall pieces, available in the STEX; there are several of them. Just search for "PEG UT Mall"

In fact there's no canal system, they're all eye-candy. These canals aren't functional, but they'll surely provide commercial jobs.

Again, eye-candy things by Pegasus, you can download it here. This lot simply simulates a sunken subway station and a timed prop simulating a subway train appears from time to time, but it looks really nice. Of course, it works as a regular subway station.

I see, thanks for the info it still looks pretty cool!

Actually we could build something like that if we had shops and pedestrian stairs to go with the slopes, just like the walls on sunken highways. Just posting it in case some developer finds it interesting!

You have to download the latest version of the NAM and the latest version of RTMT for the stations. I can't remember if I had to download the T-RAM file separately but I would double check that.

Might be a little hard to see, but the tram is behind the trees.

From my CJ, Micronation of Boomerang Island, pop 3651

60% of the residents use the tram, 40% use it daily so its no question why it existed in the first place(it also profits somehow) and the fact that these trains continue running despite ankle-high floods due to pantographs give it an advantage vs. cars that get bogged down by traffic in the wet(they do enter damp trains, it takes just 1 minute to travel from Industrial to Central, so they apparently dont care)

Here's some pictures of the surface portions of my integrated rapid transit network (my elevated lines, subway lines, and light rail lines are all connected by transitions, so those terms are interchangable in this city's case):

A tram departing an interchange station with another tram line at a subway station.

A tram heading towards downtown descends into a subway tunnel.

Two trams near the South Corner junction. Amazingly enough, in my dense rapid transit network, this is the only tram-in-avenue 4-way junction that I have.

Two historic Milan trams on the Waterfront line waiting to depart the northern terminus of the line, the Railway Museum.

A tram accelerates on tracks shared with the Waterfront line after turning off of some express tram tracks that complement a subway/tram line.

Great pictures, TransbayEmbarcadero! I like your tram-on-road stations. Looking good! 19.gif

Here's some pictures of the Victoria Overground. I guess it's monday morning, looking at those long trams heading for the city center..

Victoria_GLR_01.jpg

The St. Andrews line in rural surroundings by the water treatment facility:

Northeast Victoria. A lot of people live and work in this area, and the Overground is by far the fastest way to get around.

Victoria_GLR_03.jpg

A picture from the Central Line, arriving Victoria Central. I'm not completely satisfied with this area and I'm going to redo it..

Another downtown picture, just east of the Victoria Central Station.

Final picture: Crossing the Inner Ring Road (A-11).

*EDIT: Added more pictures to the post. I hope it didn't become too heavy..

@benedict: Thanks a lot. 1.gif The lines are carefully planned with pen and paper (oh, yes!), and I simply gave them names to avoid getting distracted when I built them. It's easy to get carried away, ending up with a totally unrealistic network..
