Nice looking new building :)!

You might want to look at the cornice above the arches, though. Now it almost look like if it's floating on the air, and IRL it wouldn't probably be able to support itself.

You might need to do something like bringing up the floor line. This way, some support for the cornice could be placed in the additional room you got.

Green cornice, red dotted line the current situation, full red line the proposed change.

After having done that you might need a parapet above it.Don't worry, even something really simple might cut the mustard.

Colour variations:

Generally speaking they're a nice idea. Then you should look at your buildings and do a case by case evaluation, though.

For example, on Johnson apartments they worked greatly as the building was quite generic, and found in many different colours IRL....that's not always the case with your BATs.

Some of your BATs depicts more particular buildings, or buildings that usually have much less variations in their colours...for those you might be able to carry out one or two convincing variations, probably not more.

    Eyrene Apartments /Building #9

Okay I have came up with the name of the apartments from this site below, I have came with an I idea the female buildings will just be all apartments no commercial on the first floor, the Male apartments will have commercial on the first floors.

Find: Eirene in the E area and it's in the girls side. :)

    http://www.aussiethings.com.au/babynames/egirl.htm

Here's a list of my apartments

    Worthington Apartments #1

    Sunset Apartments #2

    Graham Apartments #3

    Hogan Apartments #4

    Franklin Apartments #5

    Apartment Building #6

    Johnson Apartments Pack #7

    Apartment Building Pack #8

    Really nice!

Maybe the gabled roof above the roof access should have it's gables overhanging a bit more.

EDIT:And i think that perhaps make the cornice a bit less prominent (less deep). It covers most of the arches, but the arches are one interesting element in your building....it would be nice to see a bit more of them ;). So, i think it would be a good idea to play a bit with the cornice's thickness and depht to get this.

It never ceases to amaze me how many more great buildings in similar style (including the water tower on top) you keep pumping out, and yet they're still always different and have a character of their own.

Francis90b- Okay, I thin the cornice is ok, i could make the top floor where ther cornice is a lottle higher to help see the arches, some cornice in New York City stick a little more on some buildings. :)

    Gutterclub- Thank you!!! :D

    Delecto- Thank you!!! :D

    T Wrecks- Thank you!!! :D

Gn_leugim- I can't wait to get to the textures. :D

    Frex_Ceafus- Thank you!!! :D

    Skyscraper241- Thank you!!! :D

Yoshiisland- Thank you, how did I do it, it not have jsut basic polygonal modeling it's not hard, I think a normal batter can do it, I'm sure you can too, if you put you mind to it. :D

    Eyrene Apartments

So do you guys think I finished with the modeling, it's up to you, I do want to move to textureing and exporting and to the next building. :)

I think I need to do a little this and that an I will be 100% finished withe the modeling. To let you guys know i have put some doors on the sides of the building to access the outback of the building.

    Skyscraper241- Thank you !!! :D

Frex_Ceafus- Thank you, i'm also happy to see you back here. :)

    Eyrene Apartments

Okay I have added the textures to the apartments, alot of the texture of course are the same from the pervious building, I have made a few new ones. It's like the more building you make the less you need to find and make a new texture all you have to do it teek after tweek so they so not alwasy look the same, I'm sure it does not matter right now, the green shingels are not textured, do you guys think it need to be it's just a solid color. I all I have to do it add the ac units in the windows. :)

Arches are more evident, which is a good thing.

I wouldn't really think it would be a good idea to leave the shingles as a solid colour, though.

Those shingles might probably be there since some time (maybe from back when the building was built?), so they should show some signs of wear and tear...if those were made by copper, then the colour you have might be quite correct, but then you might also take into consideration water, snow and smog, which might affect that surface and not make it a solid colour.

Some signs of wear and weathering should probably be found on other areas of the buildings as well.

I'm speaking about areas like the area immediately below the copper cornice, below the balconies, below the other cornices on your building.

As far as my observation goes, the overhainging elements of a building, and the ares below them, are slightly more apt at being affected by soot over the time. This might also be true for slightly recessed areas.

Since you plan doing more than one version of your BATs, i think that you might also give a try at a full-cream version (cream on both front, top and back) as an additional version.

Okay I have made the various version of the apartment building just by switching the colors, ther still need to be a little more work including a texture tweek and adding the night lights and the ac units that will be in the windows. :)

Just tell me what you think. :D

As far as the pink version goes, i'm afraid that i'd just prefer what you had before, that is this

    eyreneapartmentspic01.jpg

    in it's place.

I also think that cream (thank you :)!) and tan versions should have their front bricks darker, while the white version should probably benefit from having the stone and plaster darker.
