From zero to riverbank

I'm working a new copy of the Bel Air region. It has all this great terrain, but one fatal flaw: these unnatural cliffs next to all game water. I wanted to place trees all the way up to the water, so the cliffs had to go.

I used the Soften tool in the God Mode Flora menu...

Already with god mode trees it looks much better:

A few MMPs and it's a riverbank!

Well, down the riverbank I had to terraform a bit differently: I wanted a street to come down to the water at the end of a peninsula.

Some wrangling later....

Also - what is the tall palm tree you have along the streets in several pics?  I use a lot of palms in my south Florida landscape and I thought I had found everyone one but that one is really nice and I don't recognize it!?

Palms are from Heblem's Tropical Flora pack, you can have them replace the Maxis palms with Shocktherapy's Palm Replacement Mod:

I'm guessing you've started viewing at the beginning of the thread as there are lots of pictures missing. That's because many free image hosting sites pulled the rug out from under peeps and now the linkys to the pics are broken.

Would you mind to scroll thru this page 17 and see if you see a lot more pictures and let me know?
