lol, nice. 6.gif

Here's mine. It probably won't be replaced until I find an even cooler MGS picture of Mars.

“The American city should be a collection of communities where every member has a right to belong. It should be a place where every man feels safe on his streets and in the house of his friends. It should be a place where each individual's dignity and self-respect is strengthened by the respect and affection of his neighbors. It should be a place where each of us can find the satisfaction and warmth which comes from being a member of the community of man. This is what man sought at the dawn of civilization. It is what we seek today.”

I just have a basic homemade desktop. Took the family photo and turned it into the wallpaper(wife will not allow it to be posted 7.gif )

I notice alot like icons on the desktop, I really hate icons so all I have is the my computer icon(a pic of my 2 yr old)
recycle bin and a shortcuts folder and downloads folder on the desktop.

Actually most give you the option now, but many just click to end the installation without reading the window that pops up.

I only have a few select shortcuts in the folder because with all th eprograms I have on my computer, the start menu list is to long and now I get the pesky arrows to show programs that can't be shown in a normal viewing.

Savio, you don't need any program to change the theme around.

I just take a pic that I see on the net or on my computer and set it as the wallpaper, and you can set any sounds you like by going into the sounds menu in the control panel.

You are unable to view my desktop as I view it. I have to put three views of my desktop here simply because I do not have a 2D desktop.

I have a 3D desktop with many rooms. This particular screen shot is of a new room (file) that I am creating to hold more of my expanding image gallery.

You can find more information about Rooms at

These three pictures are taken of the same wall from either side of this room. The last is with the addition of a 3D icon which I could have represent anything in my computer, from say SC4 to a MP3 file. I can also use simple commands to give my icons movement, such as spin  or even a walk. I have a few "walking" icons which move about in the 3D environment of their free will.

For some of you gamers out there you might note that this virtual #3D world is very much like a lot of the games, in fact similar programs are used like this one.

This particular world you are viewing is my latest work, I have been taking great pains to get the texturing just right.

cheers

David

Here's mine.  I keep it simple cuz I like to have super fast performance.  Hint: all those icons, shortcuts and desktop backgrounds slow your computer down like mad.

C'mon, nobody has any comments about my Kim Possible desktop?

Make fun of me!
Scold me for liking childish cartoons!
Make stupid jokes at my expense!
You won't offend me, I give you permission!

24.gifI was expecting a bunch of nasty but humorous comments, since that hasn't happend, now I have to ask for it22.gif24.gif
