Good lord! You're back! Not sure where that is but it reminds me of the Vatican a bit.

BTW, whatever happened to your BAT of the Time Warner Center and Hearst Tower?

GOOD TEXTURES ARE MADE, NOT FOUND.
(I get tired of saying that in BAT threads.)

"Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag them down to your level." - Quentin Crisp
"I believe in talking behind peoples' backs. That way, they hear it more than once." - Fran Lebowitz
"Ordinary morality is for ordinary people." - Aleister Crowley
"No one ever said on their deathbed, 'Gee, I wish I had spent more time alone with my computer.' " - Dani Bunten Berry

That looks amazing! It's great to see someone from the "olden days" return! I do agree that it looks a bit too bright, especially in the second picture. But, in that first picture, I thought I was looking at a real photo!

Wowee!

That modeling is the tastiest I've ever seen. A lot of the details are being lost in the render quality. I'm assuming that you are planning to up the noise sampling, but make sure you do no matter what. There are a lot of artifacts and striations that are noisy atm.

Seriously, though.... Wow.

Oh darn!

Any suggestions?

I Imagine that you want to compete with Debussyman ah? (Debussyman is also a Mexican as Heblem and I)  That's the Congress Palace that Porfirio Díaz had projected, isn't it?

But if you allow me , you mised 4 patios, those large ceilings may dark quite a bit the offices closest to the dome. look at the plane I brought you here attached, make those patios.

Que gracias a la revolución nunca se concluyó :(

(Unfortunately thanks to the Mexican revolution it never was finished :( )

 No me había dado cuenta que era el Palacio Legislativo de Porfirio Díaz, es una lástima que no se haya concluido. Hubo muchas grandes obras arquitectónicas durante el Porfiriato. Gracias por el aporte Jorge_carrillo.

 I hadn't realized it was the Legislative Palace of Porfirio Diaz, it's a shame that it wasn't finished. There were many great architectural works during the Porfiriato. Thanks Jorge_carrillo.

What an awesome work Heblem!

What an awesome work Heblem!

I think that according to the prints I brought Heblem made a mistake, he intrpreted a square shape of the building in stead of a cross shape, I put a draw if what I am saying to be a bit more clear.

Hi,

I got redirected here by the ReadMe-text for HBS Tropical Flora Godmode Mod.

I have problem with it, I have installed it correctly, but I only get these boxes in my world instead of any tropical trees (meaning Simcity 4 Deluxe can't find it or something).

Please help!

Hey SteffeeH, not sure if this is the best thread to ask your question but you seem new to the forum ;) Have you download the dependencies?

Well it was either that or some random forum in Spanish, and I haven't spoke Spanish in a couple of years. ;)

Actually I forgot to install it, thank you so much!

I'm pretty new to modding SC4 as you probably have noticed now haha, though I've played it for like a decade.

No problem ;), that's something we often tend to forget in the excitement of using a new Mod sometimes :), just don't forget the dependencies. Just remember that there are sometimes textures conflicts when you use this Mod on a steep terrain.

Wow.

You really are back!

I think it looks great. Maybe using some newer lighting methods to add interior details to nightlights (light maps?), but these are really just icing on the cake. There are so few mega malls on the STEX. Make the lot TE inside (like the Pine Valley Mall lot by mattb325) to avoid the crime bug and save us a headache.

Thanks for sharing.

Wow, this is massive! How is the lot configured, anyway? I'm wondering how to best accommodate such a huge and irregularly shaped structure. You may run into problems with the maximum prop count if you make a huge lot (in addition to the crime problem that APSMS mentioned), so it may make sense to use the mall as an overhanging prop on a small core lot and allow downloaders to dress up the surroundings with the SAM parking lot streets or any other custom parking lot system. The silhouette of the overhanging prop would be visible prior to plopping this behemoth so there won't be any unpleasant surprises when plopping. Growing such a monster is out of question anyway, IMO.
