I normally hate it when a favorite site of mine gets an upgrade, but honestly, this is different.

6.0 looks fantastic, dirk, you've successfully given this place the new vibe it needed.

Yea, the forums are a little bright, but I'll get used to that. The STEX, whoa! It's beautiful, really REALLY professional... (And the new rating system out of 5 stars is much better, more fair IMO).

On the whole, I'm really pleased with how this turned out. 10/10 for 6.0, looks and speed.

Wow, definately a stunning upgrade

I really like the new design, it's brilliant to say the least and i don't have any major issues.

> The minor: the rather large white box gets a little annoying, a less attention seeking colour (maybe opacity something) would have been preferrable. Although i definately do like the placement of the information (profile, messages, dashboard and avatar etc.)

Nice! My only problem is that maybe its little to bright, especially the white in the forums but its hardly that big of deal.

Great work, got a surprise when we got the blank page but it was worth it. Everything is so nice and neat with clean lines and all that other designer stuff

It looks a little cluttered to me, but usually everything does after I get used to something and it changes. I like it though. It's a little slow though. Or maybe it's just 3:30am... I think I'll go with the last one.

OMG, I don't believe it - ST finally works with Opera!!! At last, I don't have to switch away from my favourite browser whenever I want to use advanced features. This is great news.

The STEX is looking good, too, but all the old comments are missing, the upload counter doesn't seem to work, and I noticed in my STEX profile that while all other stats were apparently kept, my STEX score decreased by about 50%. It seems to be calculated differently now.

First, it was interesting to use the Obama campaign slogan on the "offline" message, and to use Twitter to post updates.

Secondly, my review of 6.0.

- I like the design and theme overall. The theme is cold, and does not intrude very much into my vision.

- The CJ section looks nice, although I haven't seen it very much yet

- There is a minor problem with previous text size in my CJ update titles, but nothing that can't be fixed

- The base layout of the forums remained intact, which I liked

- No radical changes, which is a good thing when improving upon an already good forum

In short, I like 6.0, but there are a couple of weak points and problems, but nothing that is major.

somehow the new design reminds me of a collage incorporating citiesxl.com, simcitycentral.net, and various former simtropolis designs. i'm also ecstatic to see that the reply window works with full functionability in chrome. well done!

I noticed that myself. It's nice that each update is on a separate page. For instance, if you want Update 50, you go to page 50. I'm still undecided on whether to transfer my current ones there or not (I'll probably end up not), but I would be certain to post any new CJ's in that section.
