My glasses aren't just on crooked. They've been permanently deformed into that crooked shape since that time I fell asleep with them on. If I try and push them straight, they just spring right back to crooked.

Though, they are a couple years old now. I just need new ones. Which I'll get around to... eventually. I can still see just fine through them, so there's zero urgency to me.

Let no one yield, we're on the field where deeds eclipse the sun; where the brave are told on a thread of gold, the tapestry is spun. As they speak of dreams, their armor gleams, this calm before the storm... Where all can see their destiny, the bishop takes the pawn.

It's called a parhelion. (If there are two, one to either side, it is parhelia). I've seen it four or five times in the past year. Even more amazing is undulatus clouds.

I took a trip across the country this past June with my dad. It was great. 15 states from PA to CA. Here I am halfway between LA and Chicago, wearing the same Deftones shirt I always wear.

My birthday was at the end of July, but it took a long time to get these up because I had to depend on my friends to put them up, and then had to deal with my own laziness of putting them on photobucket and get them here...and then find appropriate ones...

Here's when I was still semi-sober

Not so much...

Ok, definitely not

Twins!

And this was the end of the night

What do you mean I've had enough to drink?

New glasses!

Strike that. They still look a bit crooked.

Gearing up for winter, eh?

Nice mugshotz, all, cool specs, Alex, Floyd freaks--unite!

(On the wings of the night

As the daytime is stirring

Where the speechless unite

In a silent accord

Using words you will find are strange

And mesmerized as they light the flame

Feel the new wind of change

On the wings of the night.)

Oh, yeah, and Happy Belated Birthday, Jill, glad you had (responsible) fun on the big day.

And the crowd groaned...

Y'know, I hadn't noticed, but now that you mention it, yeah, I guess I have.

Probably has to do with the fact that I'm not living in the dorm eating sloppy greasy cafeteria food all the time anymore. 31.gif

Nice to see the face behind the name2.gif  I'm waiting for my son to send me the digital photos of me holding a 4 pound potatoe that was taken on Sept 29.  It's first time I've been in front of a camera since I last had my drivers license renewed in 2004.
