No worries there just close the roof. I dont see how it would be a fire/safety hazardi would guess it depends on the size of the areas and how many tickets they sell.

I have decided to go the the Monday night game, using one of these passes. will let you know how i goes.

Will try to get my good camera in, im not sure of the policy on cameras at football games i have not been to one since 89.

Lol Easy Bakes I just read your profile details for the first time. Pretty funny. I was just curious, how old are you, having not attended a football game since the year before I was born?

I'm getting ready to make my season predictions soon

    im 45.

I realy do perfer to watch NFL football on TV over attending games. Iv been to many more High school games recently since my niece was in the band at Cedar Hill and they won state  recently and deep in the playoffs the other years. They beat South Lake for gods sake. !

You should be fine with the camera, unless they have more security than the patriots and don't allow it. Its amazing really how intense the security is at football games compared to all other sporting events. I went to a bruins game a year after 9/11 and i don't even recall any security, yet at a patriots pre season game they wand you down and make you take off your shoes.

Wow I honestly thought you were in your mid 20s fresh out of college or something. lol. Hope you enjoy the game! I think I'll be attending all the Tech games this year, but no Cowboys games.

Anyone else have plans to attend a NFL game this year?

I might go to another patriots game, but i'd rather buy a season ticket for skiing this year...

I still haven't seen tom brady play...I went to a preseason game in 2004 and he didn't play, then I went to a game last year, and apparently last year he had some sort of knee issue, so he couldn't play in a few games.

Hall of Fame Game to day.

Bills wearing the OJ era Uni's

Titans wearing an old Oilers uniform.

Even the refs are wearing throwbacks, UGGGLEEE

Either way Bullet Bob Hayes is in the HoF now. A nice speach by Roger Staubach

I'm gonna print those pictures off, cut out them out, and try and steal your spot. lol. In all seriousness, I hope you have a great time. I still haven't been inside the stadium, and I don't think that is going to change until at least december 15.gif I hear the Stadium has been fully and accurately model in the Madden 10 game, so I'll have to live off of that and live t.v. broadcasts for now 2.gif

also, daaang the injury bug is really starting to bite the Cowboys now; Martellus Bennet, Felix Jones, terrence Newman, Mike Jenkens have all gone done in recent days.  At least thee havent been any serious injuries like what has been wracking the Eagles camp.

Hopefully we will all crowd into one car and find some remote parking, the ticket lady said the close in parking( At the rangers park) would be 70 bucks.

Btw has anyone mentioned the pats trading for pro bowler derrick burgess? hes like 29, been to two pro bowls, and led the league in sacks when he was in philly. He shores up our biggest weakness [outside linebacker]. We now have Adalius Thomas, OJ Mayo, and Derrick Burgess, 3 pro bowlers, in our linebacking corps.

No the main issue is that I will be at Texas Tech for this fall semester which hampers my ability to be at the Cowboys stadium on a Sunday evening unless I want to pull an all nighter driving back to Lubbock, which will require multiple stops to get bugs off the windshield...

Btw, last time I checked Derrick Burgess hasn't been very effective in a couple of years, but in all fairness, I am immediately reminded of a similar trade for this one mercurial reciever that worked out ok. Seems like a low risk, high reward type of deal for New England.

Well at least you will get to see Tech Play live. I some how doubt they will be as good as last season,That was a once in a life time run for a school like Tech,+ losing both the QB and thier best reciever wont help.

Enjoy school i had fun there for 4 semesters.

Mabey you can catch the last game of the season ,Sun Jan 3 ,during Christmas break.

Lol I did miss out, didn't I. They probably won't be as good as they were last year, but I believe Mike Leach is a good coach and hopefully he can build on last years success over the next four or five years. I can't believe i get free entrance into the games because I am a student 4.gif The best things in life are free 4.gif

I'm hoping the Pack musters at least 10 wins this season.  I didn't see any real issues with Rodgers at QB, but boy that defense sure collapsed last year.  Quite a few games they lost due to the defense not being able to stop opposing offenses in the 2nd half of the games.  I look forward to the end of pre-season [a yawnfest for me] for the real fun to begin44.gif

Rodgers did a superb job taking over the reigns from the previous quarterback. Unfortunately, his shadow will always loom over Rodgers and cloud all Rodger's accomplishments in the eyes of the Packers fan base. Just ask Tony Romo about it...Better yet, ask Danny White about it...

First patriots preseason game today. This season has snuck up on us, mostly because the red sox have been all over the news and the patriots have be cruising under the radar. This year should be really exciting, and i'll do my predictions after the game too.

Been writing my predictions the last 30 minutes or so, im going crazy lol.

The Cowboys 1st team looked real sharp out there against Oakland. Tony Romo looks good. For some reason Demarcus Ware has been playing deep into the 2nd quarter, please get him out...we all know what he can do; 20 sacks a season, we dont need him injured...

I disagree that Favres shadow will forever hang over Rodgers head.  That so-called shadow is perpetrated by the likes of ESPN and other sports media outlets who just can't let it go.  Most Packer fans I talk to don't see it that way at all, in fact it's quite the opposite.  Most Packer fans accepted Rodgers once they saw him play a couple of games.  I would know, I live in Wisconsin and the Packers are the biggest sports subject in these parts, more so than the Brewers or Bucks combined.  Fans aren't as fickle up here as they are in other parts of the country.

I hope that is true, because you should see some of the viscous, idiotic Cowboys fans that cling to glorified, idealized memories of former quarterbacks that won Super Bowls, and absolutely rip quarterbacks that don't win Super Bowls, even if they are surrounded by lesser talent. You should read up about some of the booing that "fans" did to Danny White in the 80s, it makes me sick...

So Oakland- Cowboys game ended. Starters for the Cowboys looked good. The backups sucked in a bad way. Good thing its the preseason.

Pats won 27-25. Brady threw an ugly interception but that was overshadowed by two great redzone touchdown passes. The offense is even more dynamic this year than it was in 2007, the protection was great, Moss looks great, they have a new rookie who i believe is named edelman who is the second coming of wes welker, he returned a punt to the house, and there are about 3-4 quality guys at running back and tight end, Chris Baker is an animal in the red zone [2 TD catches].

Its way too early to get excited, but im excited 9.gif

I don't get what the big deal about the Vick signing is. I highly doubt he will be anything close to an impact player this year; he has to learn a new scheme, readjust to the speed of the game, and he never was that great.

I've seen how so-called fans turn on a player as soon as they make a mistake, these people are not 'true' fans in any sense of the word.  They're just people who wanna b***h and whine about something, anything.  I know all about Danny White and how he was treated by the so-called fans, even Troy Aikman in his 1-15 season he was booed unmercifully [seemed liked Dallas was on tv every week that season] and look at how he turned out.  If the fans in Dallas wanna boo this year, they ought to boo the price of a pizza at the Cowboys new stadium....$90 for a pizza...it must have gold dust sprinkled all over it or studded with diamonds because that is the only way a pizza is worth $90.

There have been a long string of QB's in Packerland who've gotten chased out of town because of 29 years of futility before Mackowski came along and then Farve.  Rodgers was booed early on, especially in training camp, but once he got on that field in game 1 last year and performed very well [almost Favre like but with a hell of a lot more control], he won the fans over pretty quickly.

As for the Vick/Eagles deal, more power to them.  I just finished watching Vick in his press conference with the sports writers on ESPN [replaying now] and he seems genuine enough in his apology, so I don't see any reason why he can't play, if he still has it.  And Shady, you're right, Vick was never 'great' but he was good, better than most starters in the league today.19.gif
